jorgeopesi Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 A more difficult MOC with more wheels, 4 steering axles, each one with different steering angles. I build new axles and another gearbox and it will be a Tatra T815 10x10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uml7wzElr4Q&feature=youtu.be Quote
Rishab N Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Great chassis! How many speeds does the gearbox have? Quote
jorgeopesi Posted June 29, 2013 Author Posted June 29, 2013 Only 2 but I have room enough for more if I want . Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Do you have any problem with the the mini LA'S clutch kicking in before the max/min travel of the piston under the weight/strain of the model? On my upcoming truck I used one to lift the rear axle, but is struggles to lift it,I had to add a linkage and a rubber band to help it. Quote
Doc_Brown Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Great truck! I'm looking forward to seeing it finished! I really like the steering solution. Awesome job! Quote

I didn´t have any problem Alasdair, nor the Kolos or not even my Caterpillar D11. Quote
Doc_Brown Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 That is looking fantastic, I find it very inspiring! Quote

Zerobricks Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 You did a good job! Any problems with only one battery box for all those motors? Quote
jorgeopesi Posted July 6, 2013 Author Posted July 6, 2013 You did a good job! Any problems with only one battery box for all those motors? No problem at this moment, but the truth is I never game enough to test the reliability, I only have fun build them. Thank you for all comments dudes . Quote
jorgeopesi Posted July 7, 2013 Author Posted July 7, 2013 (edited) So is a 12x12 next? Really thought about building it but it was easier than this because it had more space between wheels and the same 4 steering axles. It would be easier to build a 6x6 with dual steering axle, less space more fun . Anyway the 12x12 is well nice. The more I look prettier I think... but no... no... enough Tatras for now... . I mean like wear outside of the tire first? I do not quite understand ... but you can always turn around when the tire wears . I really don´t know much about Tatras, I have not seen a real one in my life sure someone around here we could better inform. Quote
zux Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Just thought, and sorry for OT, but wouldn't Tatras go thought tires really quickly? I mean like wear outside of the tire first? Tire changes its position to surface depending on load on a truck. It gets perpendicular to surface when truck is fully loaded (when the major wear appears), so it gets even wear. Quote
