Rishab N Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 What a fantastic MOC. The details are beautiful Quote
Sir von Lego Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Thank you for showing this AMAZING model! I wish Lego would make this an official set in 2016 (together with my all-time-wish Giant AT-AT). Greetings. Hendrik Quote
Lord Tyrus Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 How did I miss this?! This is pure awesomeness. Unfortunately, it makes me wish for an official one even more, which we'll never get... Or at lest to this quality... Quote
ecmo47 Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 It would be cool if Lego had a Lego Ideas for Instructions service. They could take all these hugely popular large sets that reach 10,000 votes but aren't viable as an official set, and make purchasable instructions for them. The original designer just provides the LDD file and once they finish it, people could just order it online. Be great for Mortesv's Nebulon. That is a GREAT idea! Seems like a "no-brainer" for Lego. It would be easy and cheap for Lego to do and would really make a bunch of AFOL's happy. Maybe we could start a Lego Ideas idea to post instructions as you have suggested. Another vote/plea for the LDD files! You cannot imagine how excited I was to run across this thread. Cavegod posted a picture over on Brickset a while back, but I could never find it again. It's one of my favorite Star Wars ships and you have rendered it perfectly! Thanks for sharing the photos and information! Quote

Azrielsc Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Me too! Would purchase the instructions in a heatbeat. One of my top 3 SW Rebel ships ever! :) Quote

Lobot Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I am thinking of tweaking the ldd this summer, after that I will post it here :) You've just made my day, mortesv, thanks! I guess that means I can finally give up on my feeble attempt I don't want to think about the amount of hours I've spent on this so far, and it still looks rubbish! I really don't know how you managed to build it in LDD, the shape is so complicated. Please can you add me to the waiting list, I need another Bricklink project Quote
ecmo47 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 (edited) Sign me up for the LDD files! Cant wait to start this project! (And I cant thing of a better post to be promoted to "citizen" on!!! Edited May 2, 2015 by ecmo47 Quote

icemann Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 love the suggestion... in fact.. i m thinking most chaps who submit arent in it for the "payment" .... and i'm sure it would very well appreciated by the community to have these instructions collected into a book and made available... kinda cool gesture of acknowledgement to those who make the 10k cut, but not the commercial mark. =) It would be cool if Lego had a Lego Ideas for Instructions service. billdozer Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Brilliant work Mortesv. You captured the flavor and detail of that ol frigate wonderfully. It even looks kit-bashed like the real thing. :) The design really is a perfect example of a Star Wars ship, in general, with how the rebellion had to work with what they had; in this case, gutting an old military convoy ship, removing the weaponry, and adding a hospital. It must have been fun for you to build. I visit this page far to often, hoping to see an update. Maybe it'll be a Winter 2015 project for many of us. :) Quote
