Brickdoctor Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 There, I said it; I called a CW dio "awesome". This MOC by Olive Seon on flickr has no title and no description…but does it need one? The pictures are enough to show the incredible size and detail. (That’s a stock AT-TE walking out the main door.) In addition to the fact that its huge and that everything looks like it works, the coloring stands out to me, especially the large writing and symbols in the floors. The builder has also made a bunch of stock sets look terrific by surrounding them with an outstanding diorama. Quote
Vindicare Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 (edited) That...is...wow! :oh2: The thing is beyond big. Knowing how bg the AT-TE and RGS are, just crazy. When I started scrolling down and saw the JSF, I thought it was going to be microscale, then I saw the AT-RTs and the aforementioned. I certainly would like more info on this and a brick count. That interior is awesome. All the framework around the bays and that outer walls inside are great. Edited June 30, 2013 by Legocrazy81 Quote
hjmediastudios Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 From an initial count, they must have bought approximately 110 of the new clone battlepacks... o_0. Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 (edited) Well... wow. That is indeed very nicely done. And I don't mean that it's impressive just because of the size of it and all the time and money and such put into it (though it certainly is impressive for that), but it actually is an attractive build, with plenty of cool stuff to look at. I see the Minifigures Series 3 Alien in there. Nice to see the Star Wars universe get "filled out" a bit with LEGO elements that aren't officially from Star Wars, but can easily fit (I intend to help populate my own Mos Eisley Cantina and Jabba's Palace that way). Legopast Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 (edited) Truly Beautiful , Quality work and absolutely stunning. Looks like it has come straight out of a video game Are those some sneaky droids on the bottom left outside? Edited June 30, 2013 by Legopast Quote
M<0><0<DSWIM Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 I'm seriously at a loss for words. This must have taken months/years to build. Beautiful! Quote
Nom Carver Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 You need a lot to impress me with a CW dio, this certainly got me astonished. Quote
mortesv Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 At first I couldn't make heads or tails of this one, until I understood how frikkin big it is. Those minifigs looks like ants and the stock walker looks completely dwarfed by the installation. I'm also a big fan of the snotted floor. Thumbs up to the builder! Quote
UnknownClone Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Just noticed the underground bit lol. A lot of clone sergeants and 501st clones lol. Anybody else notice the commando droids hiding next to the entrance Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Awesome is the word I like a lot of things in there, but I don't know why the landing area for the jedi starfighter really appeals to me Quote
HJR-Holland Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Wow... iet ies so bieg !! great parts use, great colour use, great mosaique... Just great! Quote
Mr Man Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 It's so big . But the lazy builder didn't bother to buy enough 501st clones or change the trim on the AT-TE's and LAAT's to blue . Quote
CF Mitch Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Hooooooly schmokes! That is absolutely amazing and incredibly awesome. I'm just wondering one thing, is it supposed to be a Venator (or whatever kind of vessel) or more a factory? 'cause I see a lot of clones, which I feel don't have anything to do with the production of the crafts, but I also see the vehicles being built, it seems... Great find Regards, Mitch Quote
Only Sinner Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Absolutely amazing! Is there a prize for biggest CW MOC ever? This dude has some other really nice MOCs too. Looks like he's a recent millionaire or something, because he's got a lot of newer sets displayed. Wow, man. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 1, 2013 Author Posted July 1, 2013 I'm just wondering one thing, is it supposed to be a Venator (or whatever kind of vessel) or more a factory? 'cause I see a lot of clones, which I feel don't have anything to do with the production of the crafts, but I also see the vehicles being built, it seems... I think it's just maintenance on the other vehicles. They're under gantries arranged as in a hangar bay, not an assembly line. Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 It seems to be titled "Rothana Heavy engineering". The builder has a lot of extraordinary diorama... one including the goblin's king battle from LOTR and the new orange high-speed train in the same diorama Quote
TWP Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 It's really awesome, like brickdoctor already said! I'm really jealous! It looks like Olive Seon has some other great MOCs too! The builder has a lot of extraordinary diorama... one including the goblin's king battle from LOTR and the new orange high-speed train in the same diorama you mean the Horizon Express, right? I wonder what those cables are made of. Quote
Spider-Man Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 That is incredible! I wonder what the actual piece count on it is. Quote
Chills Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 That is just amazing, simply fantastic. I love how detailed it is, how it really feels like the floor of a factory. The command room has a very Kamino-esque feel to it, too. I dig the actual floor, too, how the creator used Aurebesh writing. I also dig Chewbaca sweeping up with a broom. Quote
Esurient Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Wow. Such a large scale MOC is just awesome! Very detailed as well great find! Quote
TheLegoDr Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 The scale alone is impressive. Add in the details and forget about it. This is borderline ridiculous. If that wasn't impressive enough, just look at their other sets. Many large scale impressive builds. I really like the LOTR one also. Quote
