July 5, 201311 yr Wonderful! It looks quite realistic compared to the photo. Nice to see a Latin name as the builder, Miguel Barroso! Congratulations Miguel!!! I love the garage door roofs and the light they allow to pass through. And the way it floats on the water. Way to go, Miguel!
July 5, 201311 yr Fantastic. I have always wanted to go here as they are one of the few aquaria in the world to have a Mola Mola (Great Ocean Sunfish) - google it!
July 5, 201311 yr Looks great! Only one question: Is the upper part of the glass roof connected somehow? :-)
July 5, 201311 yr Author Looks great! Only one question: Is the upper part of the glass roof connected somehow? :-) It's only standing on top of the other glass :) Thanks!
July 5, 201311 yr Looks great! You've done a great job of representing the original building. I like the clever use of the flickfire missiles for the posts.
July 9, 201311 yr This is a superb representation of a superb building, well done - I like that when you look in through the roof you can see the foliage and rocks from the different large exhibits. I've been maybe 6 times having spent quite a bit of time in Lisbon- it is well worth a visit as they have some brilliant displays, ranging from the previously mentioned Ocean Sunfish and manta rays in the massive central tank to California sea otters, penguins and thousands of amazing fish in the other exhibits :)
July 9, 201311 yr Wow, fantastic MOC ! Congratulations ! Do you have pictures of the MOC without the roof ? I'm curious to see the inside.
July 9, 201311 yr Very nice re-creation of the real oceanarium which has quite a complex outside structure. Well done! Went there when I was on my honeymoon So did I. It's definitely a highlight of the entire Expo area and well worth visiting.
