Oh, okay. Thanks for the quick response. I'll just hold out until later, Christmas, then. (unless quests are quite fast to complete.)

Quests typically take 1-3 months.

Sorry. It's just that in-game, 103# is only supposed to have lasted a single night. And in real life, it's been 3+ months...

No, quests aren't very fast to complete, unless they're a short quest. And by short, we're talking one month minimum.

Oh, damn! I was thinking about maybe a week. Thanks for clarifying that!

Why wait?

I have an idea for what I want my character to look like but I don't have the parts for him. I should be getting the necessary parts, armor and what not, to use for my character for Christmas.

You can always change what he looks like later. Looks don't matter in game anyway. Besides, we have dozens of players with LOTS of minifigs. Maybe you can nicely ask someone to make your character for you.

Quest 48 was six months and took place over the span of one night - about 14 hours.

Yeah, but it was advertised as a big long grind Quest, and it got updated at least twice a day rather than once a week. :sceptic:

>Leofwein vs. Mother of Dragons - First Aid Kit (Party restored to full health, negative effects removed)

Khorne, unless I'm mistaken about the First Aid Kit, using an item does not count towards targeting an enemy so the party should've received a free hit from the Mother of Dragons. Unless there was something I missed... Just trying to help out! :classic:

I suppose. I also highly doubt anyone has the minifig parts and armors I plan to use. The armor I basically plan to use is like the one for my avatar.

I can't make any promises, but I might be able to whip up something in LDraw and import it to Blender, that should work for what you're going for, at least until you have an official fig.

That would be splendid! Should I PM you the specifics then?

You are right, using items do not negate Free Hits. And if you use a consumable on the party, it would be impossible to target an enemy. From the FAQ:

Q: Does using an item such as a bomb or a scroll on an enemy negate its Free Hit?

A: No, it does not. Items are not actual attacks, so the enemy is not "locked in a duel" like it is with normal attacks. That's why it is free to attack the heroes at the end of the round.

Ah, okay. I missed that. Thanks for the heads up. I'll go and fix it now :classic: .

I'm double checking because one of the items on our "shopping list" is, of course, a Decamonizer for each member of the party, and if we were able to buy them in between battles, it would give us that many more chances at acquiring cards.

I think you're double checking blatantly written rules a bit too much, Lind. :sceptic:

You can only buy items with GP at the end of your FoG run, no exceptions.

Are we allowed to let our 2nd character 'borrow' something/anything of our 1st characters inventory?

Probably not, unless you can RP a good reason for it.

I'm hoping that a very good RP reason might work...I'm thinking of sending my second character a little Grogsmas gift(my second character is related to Lind, so it's not just some random ZMail being sent off.).

Can you change the gear of your character, like clothes and armor, whenever you want? What's the maximum amount of characters you can have? And if there is a maximum, can you just "get rid of" one of them for another to do some sort of metamorphosis on him/her?

Only out of battle, unless you want to waste a turn.

If by "gear," you mean what your character picture looks like, you're free to change that as you will.

What's the maximum amount of characters you can have?

One. When you either complete the required amount of quests or you have reached the required level, you are allowed to create a second.

You can change your PCs appearance anytime you want to. Hoke has had about 6 costume changes so far.

If you are talking about weapons & shields, it's free, changing artefacts in battle will cost 1 turn.

I would suggest that you just start playing the game and worry about your PC's looks later.

I would love to but I have this feeling that I'd want to change the race, class, and name of my first character which isn't the one I intend to do the most. Is there any way around that perhaps? If so, I'll get up a character either tomorrow or Monday.
