Waterbrick Down Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 When your character buys say Light Armor, you can have different variations of that armor, right? I completely forget, sorry! EDIT: And assuming 3rd Party accessories would also work for the "substitute" as well. Aesthetically yes. It still has the same mechanical effect though. Quote

It just doesn't change their in game characteristics. Quote

Sandy Posted November 15, 2014 Author Posted November 15, 2014 The wiki has now been updated by the common rules. No more loading heavy pictures, now you can read the rules quickly with handy links to related terms. ... That sounded a whole lot like a tv-commercial. Quote
Flipz Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Yaaaay! Glad to hear it. This will be VERY useful for finding things in the future. Quote
Flipz Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Question time: if someone has both counterstrike gloves and the Iris Shield equipped, do they Counterstrike twice when taking a Free Hit? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 The Iris Shield is a separate effect that just reflects the Damage taken; it's not the same as a Counterstrike. Quote
The Legonater Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Couple questions about my new crossbow. Would I have a chance to assassinate all three targets, or just the central one? Also, in battles with only one target, would it function like a triple strike, or just fire once? Quote

Also, in battles with only one target, would it function like a triple strike, or just fire once? You would have a chance to assassinate all three. The Banana Bladerang works the same way because it hits all enemies. Quote

Also, in battles with only one target, would it function like a triple strike, or just fire once? Chance to Assassinate all three, and it would function like a Triple Strike. (But it only works on non-AoE rolls, so you don't get three chances to Assassinate each enemy on a roll of Grim Reaper.) Quote
Flipz Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 The infobox for characters on the wiki is finally finished (after much delay and procrastination )! Using it is as simple as copy-pasting the listed code to the top of a character's page, and then filling in the appropriate fields--or, if you're using the visual editor, look for the puzzle pieces on the side of the screen and insert "Infobox_character", then fill in the listed fields. (And don't worry if you don't have all of the requested info--most fields will vanish or display "Unknown" if left blank. ) I've tested it out with Lee Long, so you can see its full power at work, but feel free to play around with it yourself! One added bonus--because of the "Hero_or_NPC" field, this infobox should be suitable for player characters as well, making it that much easier to write an article about the characters you know best: your own. UsernameMDM Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 I would like to propose a new consumable: Antidote/Antivenom: User is immune to Poison(s) for the duration of the battle Quote

A shade somewhat darker than the general background color of the Wikia. It'd make the infobox stand out more and differentiate from the other text on the page . Quote
Flare Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Questions about the Mime: since he can use all types of weapons, does that he also has no restrictons in terms of artifact limitations (I mean, i havent seen any artifacts saying "suitable for mimes...") Also, if he is mimicing, lets say for example, barbarian, is able to use a weapon that is not usable by a barbarian, even though he is mimicing the barbarian style? Quote
Flipz Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Mimes can use anything suitable to one of the base classes (so something suitable to a Mage is okay, whereas something specifically suitable to a Mystic Knight would not be). As I understand it, yes they can use things suitable to one class while mimicking another; Mime Docken, for example, should be able to use a bow and shield even when he's mimicking a Rogue. Quote

It's exactly as Flipz said, the Mime can use anything the six basic classes can, no matter which class it is mimicking in each turn. Quote

StickFig Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Any thought to Artefact Sets? A complete set gets a PC added bonuses/enhancements. I see lots of items with Crocodile and Hydra in the name. I vote yes for this idea. Quote
JimBee Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Agreed. It's something that's done in many RPGs and I think it works well. There'd have to be some coordination with QMs, though, just so a full set wouldn't have to be dropped in the same quest (making it easy to get a complete set). Quote
Myrddyn Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Would a complete set be an artifact in each slot? Because that would restrict it to level 50+. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but most characters will probably have pretty optimised gear by then anyway. Quote

Different sets could have different numbers of items, too. I'd like to see a LEGO Universe-style system; wearing a certain number of Artifacts from the set (say, 3-4) would grant a mild bonus, and then each additional piece of equipment from the set would improve the bonus. For example: Bone Suit: Bone Suit Helm: SP:2, +3 max HP; headwear, suitable for anyone Bone Suit Tunic: SP:2, +2 max HP; bodywear, suitable for anyone Bone Suit Leggings: SP:1, +1 max HP; footwear, suitable for anyone Set Bonus: 3 items: +1 SP, +1 WP, physical attacks cause knockback for 1 Round Necromancer's Bane Set: Hood of Necromancer's Bane: SP:2, doubled against undead, +2 max Ether; suitable for Ether-using classes Robes of Necromancer's Bane: SP:2, doubled against undead, +2 max Ether; suitable for Ether-using classes Boots of Necromancer's Bane: SP:2, doubled against undead, +2 max Ether; suitable for Ether-using classes Set Bonuses: 2 items: +1 SP, +1 max Ether, wearer takes 1/2 damage from undead 3 items: +2 SP, +2 max Ether, wearer takes 1/3 damage from undead, physical attacks damage undead Bat Lord set: Helm of the Bat Lord: SP:3, immune to Blinded; headwear, suitable for Knights, Dragoons, Skirmishers, Regulators, and Winged Warriors Tunic of the Bat Lord: SP:4, Max HP +2; bodywear, suitable for Knights, Dragoons, Skirmishers, Regulators, and Winged Warriors Boots of the Bat Lord: SP:4, Max HP +2, immune to traps on the ground; footwear, suitable for Knights, Dragoons, Skirmishers, Regulators, and Winged Warriors Bat Lord Shield: SP: 8, doubled against Dark enemies, bats, and dragons; shield Bat Lord's Halberd: WP:10, assumes the element of the bearer's Dragon if they are a Dragoon; halberd Set Bonuses: 3 items: Lifesteal 3, +2 max HP 4 items: Lifesteal 3, +4 max HP, +2 SP to party 5 items: Lifesteal 6, +4 max HP, +2 SP to party, permanently Hastened Jester Set: Mosaic Wand: WP:3, physical attacks restore 5 Ether to entire party; wand Mosaic Shoulderpads: SP:2, +2 max Ether; accessory, suitable to anyone Mosaic Shield: SP:3, +2 max Ether, bearer can spend 5 Ether to provide +10 SP to one party member instead of attacking; shield Mosaic Jester Cap: SP:2, +3 max Ether, wearer causes entire party to reflect damage taken (subject to row and SP); headwear, suitable to anyone Mosaic Jester Shirt: SP:3, +3 max Ether; bodywear, suitable to anyone Mosaic Jester Tights: SP:2, +3 max Ether; footwear, suitable to anyone Set Bonuses: 4 items: +1 SP, +1 max health, +1 max Ether 5 items: +2 SP, +2 max health, +2 max Ether, user is Evasive when not attacking 6 items: +3 SP, +3 max health, +3 max Ether, user is Evasive when not attacking, increases gold stolen by 50% for all party members ...why, yes, I still miss LEGO Universe, why ever do you ask?
