Lind Whisperer Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 I'm not sure why that would be relevant? If you want to post an action, just post an action. Why would you post an OoC action? It wasn't an OoC action, I was posting in grey because I was applying Intimidation in the middle of a conversation without Lind pausing, and black would have visually broken it up into two parts. Also, because it was supposed to be more of a subtle action, rather than an over-the-top "I SPEAK AND YOU SHALL FOLLOW!" Quote
Emjajoas Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Most of the time that gets Bolded, and to make it clearer you can use "intimidation" as a descriptive word in the sentence, for future reference. Quote
Kintobor Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Generally, Lind, the use of Diplomacy, Intimidation, or promiscuity are activated like so: Annienal could feel the pressure put on her, with Miderun having said nothing. She steps forward and speaks clearly and diplomatically. If there was ever a time for not screwing up and stuttering, it was now. Just add it into your roleplay naturally. Generally speaking your passive ability stops at the end of your post, or when you're finished speaking with a particular NPC. Quote
Yzalirk Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Has there ever been discussion about a crafting system for Heroica? I don't recall seeing one at all. Whenever I plan to host a quest, I'd like to add schematics for rewards. Quote

Asphalt Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 I have to admit I am thoroughly confused by the weapons combining conflicting elements. The most common seems to be light and dark. Dark = 2X humanoid, 2X light, Zero to Dark Light =2X dark zero, Zero To light But when you add both gems you get 2X humanoid and zero damage to light, holy, dark, and demon that seems like a waste of gems or do you get Dark = 2X humanoid, 2X light, Zero to Dark Light =2X dark zero, Zero To light and you get 2X humanoid and Normal damage to Light and Dark? Asphalt Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 (edited) Is it worth combining contrasting elements in order to get back up to normal damage? or better to have two weapons that give double to some and none to others. Edited January 30, 2015 by Asphalt Quote
UsernameMDM Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 But remember that Ethereal enemies don't take damage from elemental weapons, so don't imbue every weapon. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted January 30, 2015 Posted January 30, 2015 Is it worth combining contrasting elements in order to get back up to normal damage? or better to have two weapons that give double to some and none to others. Depends if you have enough cash to keep upgrading two weapons. Quote

Lind Whisperer Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Can you at least re-name weapons? Not sure about weapons you pick up, but I know you can rename weapons you buy from the Marketplace... Quote

Asphalt Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 pretty sure you can rename anything. Though specifically important items you probably want to add to rather than completely toss out. Quote
CMP Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 It can get confusing, so I wouldn't advise just outright renaming everything you get. Especially not to names of objects you already have. Quote
Peppermint_M Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Some weapons I name I simply shuffled the official name it had before I got it into the flavour text/description and stats. Keeps QMs and other players informed about the weapons but lets me carry on the naming convention I enjoy. Quote
Asphalt Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 It is stated that applications of poison stack. So adding two Poison -1 would give you a poison -2. Do hits with a poisoned weapon stack? For example. If 5 hits land on an enemy over 5 rounds with a Poison -1 weapon. Would the enemy end up being poisoned by -5 per round the next round? Quote

Poisoning stacks, whether it refers to applying it on a weapon or hitting an enemy with poison. Quote

It's really great when you're a Mystic Knight, roll a Spellspin Blade and hit multiple enemies multiple times. :) Quote
Palathadric Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I think I know the answer to this question, but just in case: Would the Nunchakus give an additional two attacks to a dual-strike weapon? Please don't say answer by saying they're only suitable to Chi Monks, because we both know that's not entirely true. Hey, I finally asked a question in the right topic. I'm a pro! Quote

If you ask me a question if I will allow you to bend the rules to make yourself overpowered, would you have ANY idea what I would answer you? No, no and once again no. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 No, no and once again no. How about rewording the description of the nunchakus to read "wear cannot wield a shield or weapon(s)."? Quote
