Kintobor Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 (edited) Just for personal clarification, is there any reason why it's named after the front of a building? A facade is also an outward appearance that is maintained to conceal a less pleasant or creditable reality. (Credit goes to google) Edited March 18, 2015 by Kintobor Quote
Bricksandparts Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 The Demon Germ gave him a free venom and a Passion-fruit Vine Whip with those stats. I think the turning of it into the "Whip Facade" is part of Nalguz's RP. Oh, that's fine. I just wanted to know. Thanks! Quote
Asphalt Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 A facade is also an outward appearance that is maintained to conceal a less pleasant or creditable reality. (Credit goes to google) A false front or decorative veneer. Something that pretends to be other than it is. Quote
samurai-turtle Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Oh, that's fine. I just wanted to know. Thanks! I sold him the stuff. He just forgot to adjust the gold count. Quote
Palathadric Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 If a sleeping enemy receives the extra hit from a Dual-Striking weapon, do they wake up? I would guess, yes, but just in case... Quote
Sandy Posted March 19, 2015 Author Posted March 19, 2015 If a sleeping enemy receives the extra hit from a Dual-Striking weapon, do they wake up? I would guess, yes, but just in case... Yes, sleeping enemies wake up from taking any damage, even from indirect attacks. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Am I the only one that thinks there should be some type of Auto Hit on a Sleeping enemy? Quote
Zepher Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I don't know what that means MDM... but 127 has had long talks about the sleep effect in our private thread, and though Pala will kill me for saying so I think it's too powerful (especially with those bombs and minstrels in the mix) - I think the same rolls should be extended to sleeping enemies as heroes (instead of free hits, if they're left untargetted, they have a chance of waking up). Alternatively I could just slap "immune to sleep" on more of my enemies, or we could rebuff minstrel and raise the price of bombs, but both of those take away from players (especially immunities I try to not do so that people can at least have a large number of strategical options open). Just my thoughts. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I mean a PC wouldn't be able to roll a 5 or 6 when targeting a sleeping enemy. But I know when I said that it would be too powerful. Just one of those in-game mechanics vs real world common scenarios. Quote
Palathadric Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I mean a PC wouldn't be able to roll a 5 or 6 when targeting a sleeping enemy. The enemies might be sleep walking so you could still miss. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 The enemies might be sleep walking so you could still miss. Maybe they take Ambien? Quote
Palathadric Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 (edited) Since Zeph hasn't gotten back to me yet. Do you think this Special Damage would be prevented by Guardian Angel? : Special: Swiftly Go – Flies through the hero and removes them from combat the following round. I would think so, but just want to be safe. Edited March 19, 2015 by Palathadric Quote
UsernameMDM Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 How do you know if an enemy is Decamodifiable or not? Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 How do you know if an enemy is Decamodifiable or not? If it's been shown as a card already or not. We haven't seen the Chameleon be seen on one yet, so it's doubtful it is one - although I believe there's a small chance it might be one of the very top "unrevealed" cards. Don't quote me on that, though. Quote

UsernameMDM Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I designed the thing, so I can say with certainty that it is not Decamodifiable. So what actually determines that? Will there never been new cards? Quote
Flipz Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 So what actually determines that? Will there never been new cards? That's up to Sandy. If he wanted to make the Chameleon Serpent a card, he's totally free to do so, but as far as I know he plans to keep the cards set as-is for now. Quote
JimBee Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Or just try it out - sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't. Quote
Myrddyn Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 So what actually determines that? Will there never been new cards? There are ten cards for each element - one with each number from one to ten. Quote

Sandy Posted March 20, 2015 Author Posted March 20, 2015 Is there an actual guide for the cards? Yes, there is. I've kept the yet-unseen 9 and 10 cards a secret for now. Quote
samurai-turtle Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Yes, there is. I've kept the yet-unseen 9 and 10 cards a secret for now. From the looks of the "link" so is 4 and 5. Quote
Asphalt Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 Yeah a little bit of cropping issues there. But still nice to see most of them in one place. Quote
Cutcobra Posted March 20, 2015 Posted March 20, 2015 I've got a question about the Fashionista job trait and the artifact "Glittering Dress": If a male artisan wears a GD, which he can because of the F trait, then all his traits are replaced with the Harlot traits. Which means he cannot wear GD anymore, which means that he can wear GD again because the F trait is restored. So can male artisans wear it, Sandy? Quote
