Lind Whisperer Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Two questions - wands are ranged weapons, correct? And the SHIELD roll for the Mage: It says that the mage's power overflows causing a random element out of those available to the mage to be used - but I have Warlen calling an Amethyst? Quote
K-Nut Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Two questions - wands are ranged weapons, correct? And the SHIELD roll for the Mage: It says that the mage's power overflows causing a random element out of those available to the mage to be used - but I have Warlen calling an Amethyst? No, wands are not. Spells cast through it are, but an attack from the wand itself is not. Magic Burst is completely random, at least it was when I was a Mage. Other shield skills like Evokers can call for a specific element, but Mage can't. Quote
Asphalt Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 wands do 1/2 damage from the back row and it is a random element. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Do dragons get the Dragoon's positive effects from consumables, or do dragons need their own consumables? Can dragons use a consumable on their turn by themselves or does a Dragoon have to use its turn? Quote

Rconn0 Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Quick question, after a quest where do we update our Hero stats? Quote
Pyrovisionary Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 (edited) Welcome to Heroica! You update it in the same post you made in the statistics thread. You edit the post Edited March 29, 2015 by Pyrovisionary Quote
UsernameMDM Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Yeah, boo, logic. Dragons defy logic, sooo.... Quote
Kintobor Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Dragons defy logic, sooo.... So does magic, yet it has a standard set of rules in the universe of Heroica. Quote
Asphalt Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 If you are attacking an enemy with a weapon imbued with multiple elements, say fire, lighting, and dark, and the enemy is immune to one of those elements does that mean the attack Does no damage? Quote
Sandy Posted March 31, 2015 Author Posted March 31, 2015 If you are attacking an enemy with a weapon imbued with multiple elements, say fire, lighting, and dark, and the enemy is immune to one of those elements does that mean the attack Does no damage? As it says on the FAQ (seriously people, read it first before asking), yes. Unless the enemy is also weak to one of the elements. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Have the recently discussed class changed been implemented yet? Quote
Sandy Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 Have the recently discussed class changed been implemented yet? Don't you think I would announce them if they were? I'll work on them over the Easter. Quote

Cutcobra Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 If an enemy joins a battle during a round, does it get a free hit since no one targeted it? Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Different QM's have ruled it different ways. Quote
Cutcobra Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Very well then. I would say no since the enemies wouldn't be fully into the battle yet (Like in Hearthstone). Quote
JimBee Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 I'll just ask for clarification on this in here, even though the battle in 129 is over. Is the max health reduction removed once a Remedy is used to cure the Cursed effect? I.e. does a hero with 100 max HP have 100 max HP after being remedied, or 90 max HP (after one round of the Curse effect and then being remedied)? Quote
Sandy Posted April 2, 2015 Author Posted April 2, 2015 If an enemy joins a battle during a round, does it get a free hit since no one targeted it? No, it does not. The new enemy is basically in the "prepare for battle"-stage when it enters the battle. I'll just ask for clarification on this in here, even though the battle in 129 is over. Is the max health reduction removed once a Remedy is used to cure the Cursed effect? I.e. does a hero with 100 max HP have 100 max HP after being remedied, or 90 max HP (after one round of the Curse effect and then being remedied)? Maximum health is of course restored when the effect is cured, but not the variable health lost when under the influence of the curse. Quote
Palathadric Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 I'm not sure if I'm stupid or blind or what, but I didn't see it in the frequently asked questions despite my being pretty sure that we came to a conclusion on it before. When a hero attacks an enemy (or vice versa), and the damage done is not equal to the defendant's SP, is the enemy/hero affected by the weapon's effect (let's say "Poisoned")? Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Yes they are still affected by the negative effect. Quote
Yzalirk Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Has there ever been talk about new factions? I have one idea that I would love to incorporate in a quest that I will propose shortly. Quote
