Kintobor Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) Ouch. I do apologise if I've offended anyone. Apology accepted. As a golden rule, if something you write might potentially offend someone and you're not sure if you should post it, don't. It's better to be safe than to potentially offend individuals. The Chosen Minifigure Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 That rule should be on the Google homepage as the golden rule. Quote

Palathadric Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I just thought it would be interesting if a Hastened hero is poisoned, he loses twice as much health since the poison is spreading through his body faster...or whatever. Quote
Asphalt Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I just thought it would be interesting if a Hastened hero is poisoned, he loses twice as much health since the poison is spreading through his body faster...or whatever. Makes sense to me. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Not really because the damage from poison is assessed at the end of the round, not after the PC's turn(s). Quote
K-Nut Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I just thought it would be interesting if a Hastened hero is poisoned, he loses twice as much health since the poison is spreading through his body faster...or whatever. It'd definitely be a consequence to being hastened. However, I don't think that the positive effects need consequences. Maybe an artifact that allows permanent hastening, but twice as much possibly, but I don't think the effect itself needs nerfing. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Hastened PCs already have the consequence of taking Damage or triggering Special Damage twice in one round. Quote
K-Nut Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Hastened PCs already have the consequence of taking Damage or triggering Special Damage twice in one round. True. That's just a possibility, though, whereas doubling the poisoning would be a direct consequence of getting both actions. I think the effect is fine where it is. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Do the Sisters of Danub recognize the Dodekube as a valid religion? Because I'm really liking the sound of the Amenra Beach Resort... Quote
Sandy Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 Do the Sisters of Danub recognize the Dodekube as a valid religion? Because I'm really liking the sound of the Amenra Beach Resort... Dodewhat?! The beach resort has nothing to do with the Sisters, in any case... It's a friggin' beach resort! Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Dodewhat?! Dodekube. I originally mentioned it as a non-canon meta-joke in #122, but Lind's referenced it seriously several times since then. The beach resort has nothing to do with the Sisters, in any case... It's a friggin' beach resort! I know, but the only way to get to Salmanda and the resort so far seems to be on Sisters quests - and the requirements seem to be either "be strong in faith," or "be good at drinking and 'other things'". This is a one-off quest, but nothing prevents me or some other QM to host a quest in Salmanda for a totally different reason. Case-in-point, Salmanda was first visited during Quest#14, which was a Ziegfried quest. So yeah, nothing prevents a worshipper of a die to get to the beach resort. Quote
Duvors Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Would you please seriously get over yourself. Yes, please, It's not funny anymore. Quote

Pyrovisionary Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 (edited) Yeah, I'm sorry Lind but the name you've chosen for your race bears connotations I simply cannot forget - however cool the backstory is . Whenever you say munchkin, I see this: You see why "Munchkin knowledge" becomes a hilarious phrase? Sorry, but I just cant get it out of my mind. I'm such a dick.
