Palathadric Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 If you have a problem with getting into heated "conversations" on a topic, then just avoid conversations regarding said topic. Quote
Sandy Posted October 15, 2015 Author Posted October 15, 2015 Sandy: Just in case I ever get banned - for any reason - could I set a will, stating that Lind auto-distributes his gear to x, y, and z? (In the case of such an event happening.) No way. I'm not going through that trouble just because someone's moronic enough to get themselves banned from the site (mind you, it takes a lot more than a heated discussion to get yourself banned). Quote
samurai-turtle Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Sandy: Just in case I ever get banned - for any reason - could I set a will, stating that Lind auto-distributes his gear to x, y, and z? (In the case of such an event happening.) If you really think that could happen you should just stop. And be ready to apologize (maybe preemptively). (But, you could just give me everything now and save yourself some trouble.) ( ) Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 No way. I'm not going through that trouble just because someone's moronic enough to get themselves banned from the site (mind you, it takes a lot more than a heated discussion to get yourself banned). Fair. Quote

I think you just got wrecked by Sandy. But you took it well Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 (edited) I think you just got wrecked by Sandy. But you took it well ...I've heard horror stories. That's all I'm going to say on this topic. Eurobricks is...a fairly free-minded site. But were a horror story to somehow happen, I was just trying to set up an "really nice knowing you all, shame it had to end, here's a goodbye present" thing. Sandy ruled against it, and that's the end of it. Edited October 15, 2015 by Lind Whisperer Quote
Asphalt Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Just give everything to vindsval THEN go make people angry. Quote
Palathadric Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Monk Pretzel would join an allegiance with Germ and Vindsval if he thought Lind's loot was worth his doing so. Quote
Flipz Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 All right, some confusion with Petrified on mobs... I treat Petrified kills on mobs exactly the same as instakill from Assassins--it instantly kills one member of the mob. The question is, does the Petrified stick around afterwards, or is it just the one mob member that was Petrified? (Yes, it's an edge case, since there's only one item in the game that can Petrify enemies...but I happen to be dealing with it at the moment. ) Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Giving it to the mob member that is first to die makes the most sense. It is also the easiest way to run things. Quote
Enceladus Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 I can't find anything concrete about this in the marketplace topic, but can anyone confirm for me that weapons sell for 5 times their WP, and If not how much do they sell for? Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Question: Just for definite clarification, are bombs counted as "physical attacks," or not? Quote
UsernameMDM Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 (edited) Question: Just for definite clarification, are bombs counted as "physical attacks," or not? From the first page: Q: What enemy types do bombs affect? A: Bombs are like elemental spells, so they follow the same rules of weakness and immunity as the spells do. And if you are asking because of Free Hits, again, from the first page: Q: Does using an item such as a bomb or a scroll on an enemy negate its Free Hit? A: No, it does not. Items are not actual attacks, so the enemy is not "locked in a duel" like it is with normal attacks. That's why it is free to attack the heroes at the end of the round. Flipz Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Hang on a tick...if healing enemies now has a risk of Damage/Special Damage, shouldn't it by that logic also prevent Free Hits like any other attack? Quote
Sandy Posted November 28, 2015 Author Posted November 28, 2015 Hang on a tick...if healing enemies now has a risk of Damage/Special Damage, shouldn't it by that logic also prevent Free Hits like any other attack? It's always worked that way, at least when I've hosted... I've never had people heal other enemies than undead before this, though. Quote
Endgame Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 I thought after the Aquos battle in Q48, it was agreed that Healing has no risk of getting attacked, sans a free hit. Quote
Sandy Posted November 28, 2015 Author Posted November 28, 2015 I thought after the Aquos battle in Q48, it was agreed that Healing has no risk of getting attacked, sans a free hit. That was aeons ago, who remembers that far back... I would leave it up for the QM's jurisdiction. If the enemy is hostile, then it should attack anyone who targets it, no matter what their intention is. If the enemy is friendly... well, then it probably shouldn't be listed under enemies at all. Endgame Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Because it was my boss fight that got tripped up by it. Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 (edited) Does the Cornucopia gold-multiplying ability stack? Edited December 12, 2015 by Lind Whisperer Quote
Flipz Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Does the Cornucopia gold-multiplying ability stack? Not with itself. It might stack with different gold-multiplying items (Tyrant Statue), I don't know, that'd need Sandy ruling. Quote
