Oh, I assumed it hadn't yet been because Magnetic Mojo would be terribly underpowered without it and a suitable buff hasn't been placed yet, not to mention it's not in the class description. :shrug_confused: I guess I'll fix it, then.

It's an open discussion, I don't think Sandy has made any of these changes permanent yet.

Ok, but on the other hand the gold nerfs were official changes and ended the open discussion.

On the fact that gold-gaining skills were nerfed, not the buff to Magnetic Mojo. Last I looked...

But like I said, these are all on the table for now. I want to hear your thoughts first before making decisions.

Sorry, I've been preoccupied with things these past couple of days.

Since there's no glaring objections, I'll make the class rule changes official as soon as possible.

And yes, the "gold-nerf" is already in effect, even though the rule pages haven't been updated yet. I just wanted to wait for all the other changes too, so I wouldn't have to constantly edit them.

QUESTION: If someone heals an ally outside of combat, does that restore the person to full health costing 1 ether, or does it restore HP equal to the caster's power?

I think you can change the appearance as often as you wish. If you have not started yet it does not matter, but later it should perhaps make sense from a roleplaying perspective. Changing Classes is another topic. This is impossible once you've been on a Quest.

Impossible to change basic class, without starting over, I think you mean :wink: If I got bored of my character (after I finish this quest I'm on), I could ditch him and make a new character with a new class. But he'd be level 1. And it doesn't really affect Captain's issue at hand :grin:

It wouldn't affect me, but I can't be bothered introducing myself, writing my characters stats and buying things again. But thanks for the info!

Changing appearance isn't any issue and some people don't even bother introducing their character, so you're fine. Only if you switch base classes is a restart required. Edited by Waterbrick Down

With some exceptions, Grimwald switched from mage to cleric since he had barely introduced himself when he decided a cleric would be a better class for him. It's probably best to clear it with Sandy first though.

Technically he made a new character although with the same name and background!
