CMP Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 It has. Oh, I assumed it hadn't yet been because Magnetic Mojo would be terribly underpowered without it and a suitable buff hasn't been placed yet, not to mention it's not in the class description. I guess I'll fix it, then. Quote

CMP Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Wasn't Magnetic Mojo replaced? It's an open discussion, I don't think Sandy has made any of these changes permanent yet. Quote
Flare Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 It's an open discussion, I don't think Sandy has made any of these changes permanent yet. Ok, but on the other hand the gold nerfs were official changes and ended the open discussion. Quote
CMP Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Ok, but on the other hand the gold nerfs were official changes and ended the open discussion. On the fact that gold-gaining skills were nerfed, not the buff to Magnetic Mojo. Last I looked... But like I said, these are all on the table for now. I want to hear your thoughts first before making decisions. ...I don't think a decision was agreed on yet. Quote

Sandy Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 Sorry, I've been preoccupied with things these past couple of days. Since there's no glaring objections, I'll make the class rule changes official as soon as possible. And yes, the "gold-nerf" is already in effect, even though the rule pages haven't been updated yet. I just wanted to wait for all the other changes too, so I wouldn't have to constantly edit them. Quote
Zepher Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I've been running 72 with them, and they already seem more balanced and fun. Quote
Quarryman Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Since there's no glaring objections, I'll make the class rule changes official as soon as possible. So what was the conclusion regarding the Sorcerer's Magnetic Mojo? Quote
joeshmoe554 Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 QUESTION: If someone heals an ally outside of combat, does that restore the person to full health costing 1 ether, or does it restore HP equal to the caster's power? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 QUESTION: If someone heals an ally outside of combat, does that restore the person to full health costing 1 ether, or does it restore HP equal to the caster's power? Full HP. Quote
Captain Settle Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 QUESTION: Can I change the clothes on my character without having to start again? Quote
PsyKater Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I think you can change the appearance as often as you wish. If you have not started yet it does not matter, but later it should perhaps make sense from a roleplaying perspective. Changing Classes is another topic. This is impossible once you've been on a Quest. Quote

If you have not started yet it does not matter, but later it should perhaps make sense from a roleplaying perspective. Changing Classes is another topic. This is impossible once you've been on a Quest. Impossible to change basic class, without starting over, I think you mean If I got bored of my character (after I finish this quest I'm on), I could ditch him and make a new character with a new class. But he'd be level 1. And it doesn't really affect Captain's issue at hand Quote

Captain Settle Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 It wouldn't affect me, but I can't be bothered introducing myself, writing my characters stats and buying things again. But thanks for the info! Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 (edited) It wouldn't affect me, but I can't be bothered introducing myself, writing my characters stats and buying things again. But thanks for the info! Changing appearance isn't any issue and some people don't even bother introducing their character, so you're fine. Only if you switch base classes is a restart required. joeshmoe554 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 With some exceptions, Grimwald switched from mage to cleric since he had barely introduced himself when he decided a cleric would be a better class for him. It's probably best to clear it with Sandy first though. Quote

UsernameMDM Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 What are the rules for Ether consumption on the scrolls? Is it different for each scroll? Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 What are the rules for Ether consumption on the scrolls? Is it different for each scroll? It's usually different depending on the scroll. Most of them are listed in the Treasury. Quote

Endgame Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 It doesn't - scrolls are unaffected by negative efects, Jinxed or Lucky. Quote
