Kintobor Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Can a stunned hero be put into a battle order? For example, if Bob was stunned, can he still target an enemy? Quote
CMP Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 He can't do anything, but he still shows up in the battle order and takes free hits. Quote
Sandy Posted September 2, 2013 Author Posted September 2, 2013 Can a stunned hero be put into a battle order? For example, if Bob was stunned, can he still target an enemy? A stunned hero must be put into the battle order, for they need to spend one turn to recover from getting stunned (unless a remedy isn't used on them). Quote
Endgame Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Out of curiosity, does a necromancer have his Critical Hit multiplied by 0 or 1 if he has no undead army? Quote
Flipz Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Out of curiosity, does a necromancer have his Critical Hit multiplied by 0 or 1 if he has no undead army? I think 0. Quote
JimBee Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 I think 0. I like balance, but I have to say that's pretty lame. Quote
Kintobor Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 I like balance, but I have to say that's pretty lame. I agree. A necromancer is effectively doing 0 damage without an army when a crit. is rolled. I can see where the idea is coming from, the necromancer has to build up an army in order to start dealing massive damage, but in that case, make the multiplier one. Especially when a necromancer starts a quest with zero undead. Quote
Endgame Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 The weapon multiplier is 0. it pretty much defualts to an Aim. Quote
Flipz Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 The weapon multiplier is 0. it pretty much defualts to an Aim. Exactly, just with Level instead of Weapon Power. And we've all seen the insane multipliers they can get with a big enough army. Quote
Endgame Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 (edited) Oh, I know. I think necromancers are pretty balanced right now, I'm just saying that a Critical hit always does damage, undead army or not. Edited September 8, 2013 by Endgame Quote
Sandy Posted September 8, 2013 Author Posted September 8, 2013 Out of curiosity, does a necromancer have his Critical Hit multiplied by 0 or 1 if he has no undead army? Stupid maths! I never intended the multiplication to be 0 if there are no undead raised. Maybe I need to rephrase the skill... But yeah, the base damage is WP + Level, and the number of undead multiply the WP (ie. with one raised the WP stays the same, with two it is doubled etc.). Quote
Pandora Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 A quick question, Sandy. The Sandman's Parasol grants immunity to Sleep and Fast Asleep effects. Does imbuing a Scroll of Sleep into an artefact also grant immunity to both? Quote

Does imbuing a Scroll of Sleep into an artefact also grant immunity to both? No. The Scroll of Sleep only inflicts the asleep-effect, so imbuing it grants immunity to only that effect. Quote
PsyKater Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Yeah. I believe that's the way it's run when this is the case. I thought it goes through the list again from the top. Just like effects etc. Quote
Pandora Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Apologies for asking what may be an obvious question (or one that has been asked before)... I won Bright Polish in the anniversary raffle - can I apply it to my Robe of the Archmagi, or can it only used on shields by shield-carrying classes? Quote
CMP Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 I thought it goes through the list again from the top. Just like effects etc. Dated an example as it may be, that's not how it was run in Quest 2. It's the next two enemies in order, I think, so if there aren't any, it stacks. Quote

I think the description says it can be used an shield or armor, but I don't think the Robe counts as either. Are you sure if thats still how its done? I was agreeing with PsyKater... I could be wrong, I'm just running it as I see it. Edited September 22, 2013 by CallMePie Quote
Sandy Posted September 22, 2013 Author Posted September 22, 2013 I won Bright Polish in the anniversary raffle - can I apply it to my Robe of the Archmagi, or can it only used on shields by shield-carrying classes? It can only be used on shields or artefacts named "armor". It's supposed to make metal more shinier and sturdier, thus increasing SP. I don't think you can make robes shinier... (unless you use some very powerful detergent. ) Quote

I don't think you can make robes shinier... (unless you use some very powerful detergent. ) I'm (only very mildly) annoyed because I originally invented it (Grogmas present to Cronk). Dammit. I figured this would be the answer, though, which is why I didn't just go ahead and use it. EDIT- A little bit of a search though does describe it as being usable on accessories and artefacts as well, though. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 I believe it was at one point said it could be used on all things that already had SP. Quote
Sandy Posted September 22, 2013 Author Posted September 22, 2013 I believe it was at one point said it could be used on all things that already had SP. Well, it wouldn't be the first time I contradicted myself on these nitty-gritty issues. Go ahead and use it on the Robe, Pandora, if that's what I've first said. Quote
PsyKater Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Can you say something on the tripleshot thing, Sandy? Quote

JimBee Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Was it ever decided whether or not Summoning Lamps would be permanent or consumable? That also goes for Mediq (Namyrra's Jade Lamp of Summoning). Quote
