Flare Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 But has she successfully completed ten quests? I would check but I'm on my phone. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Not even close. Seven, to be exact, eight, if we succesfully complete 89. Quote
Flare Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) Good. So Benji still has a chance to beat her to Sylvan Ranger. LOL Edited January 31, 2014 by Flare Quote
CMP Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 All true. I think the only people currently eligible are Guts and Atramor (though 91's ending in a few days and assuming it's successful Boomingham will be as well) but there are quite a lot of people at 8 or 9. Quote
Flipz Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) I think that pretty much anyone who hasn't been to the Fields will make 10 Quests before they hit 40, easily; it's only the Medal of Glory and Fields battle system that accelerates the experience rate so that "number of Quests" becomes a factor. JimBee Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 And Alexis could easily just go to the Fields and buy access to the Veteran classes if she really wanted to. But I didn't even realize that anyone was remotely close to level 40. Quote
Sandy Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 Are you still considering reducing the level needed to create a second character, Sandy? No, I think reaching Level 50 is a sufficient achievement for such a reward. Quote
hoanganhbeo Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Why are Shields not suitable for Paladins? Quote
Endgame Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 They can - they can weild anything that a knight or cleric uses, shield included. Quote
hoanganhbeo Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 They can - they can weild anything that a knight or cleric uses, shield included. Sandy didn't mention the shields are suitable for Paladins in the last page of rules. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Sandy didn't mention the shields are suitable for Paladins in the last page of rules. That's because Paladins are an advanced class available to any player that started as either a knight or a cleric and thus have equipment from either basic class available to them. Dragoons, Regulators, and Skirmishers are expert classes not based on any basic class. You can see the description for each of the advanced classes and further here. Quote
Kintobor Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I'm not entirely sure where you've read this. The description of the class states they can use shields. Beisdes, at this point in the game, the Advanced Classes are pretty far away. Concern yourself in just getting a grip of the mechanics of the game and getting a character started. Quote
hoanganhbeo Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I have a question: Can I still fight in the Arena while I am doing a quest? Quote
Kintobor Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I have a question: Can I still fight in the Arena while I am doing a quest? No, because you can't be in two places at once. Quote
hoanganhbeo Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 No, because you can't be in two places at once. Huhm, really? Interesting! How can I have great reputation among the Shadeauxe to become a Dragoon? Quote
Endgame Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Go on Shadeaux quests that offer reputation. Quote
Kintobor Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 How can I have great reputation among the Shadeauxe to become a Dragoon? You need to assist the Shadeux, which means getting on quests where Shadeux reputation is being offered, and generally not getting involved with the Hinckwells. You can lose rep as well. Once again, worry about that first quest under your belt before you decide you want to go Dragoon. Those Expert classes are a long ways off. Quote
hoanganhbeo Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 There's no quest like that anymore. Quote
Endgame Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 One will appear eventually. It usually takes about 2 years to even come close to an Expert Class, so I wouldn't worry. Quote
Flipz Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 There's no quest like that anymore. You just have to be patient. Quests don't make themselves, and we can't just randomly create them overnight. Eventually, someone will come up with a Quest that offers Shadeaux reputation, and if you show the community that you can be mature, patient, and respectful, you might be picked for it. The key is to sit back, relax, and let things happen as they happen instead of trying to force the issue. Quote

Waterbrick Down Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 What are thoughts on allowing heroes to gain experience even if they are KO'd at the end of a battle, but their party still wins? Quote
