Posted July 6, 201311 yr The Stealth Z-95 is a modified variant of the Clone Z-95 flown during the Clone Wars by the G.A.R. As such it uses the dual engine configuration opposed to the more standard quad engines found on most Z-95’s. The weapon systems were replaced with ones found on its younger cousin the X-Wing, laser cannons replacing the blaster cannons and a pair of photon torpedo launchers instead of the concussion missile launchers. The nose of the fighter was made shorter and resembles that of any number of other Z-95’s. The fighter also been modified to have an astromech port behind the cockpit and covered by a transparasteel canopy, x1 hyperdrive, installed, and finally a sensor mask and sensor baffling, making it harder it to be detected by sensors or sight. The Stealth Z-95 was developed by an Alliance agent during the early days of the rebellion to restore the Republic. The Z-95 was chosen due to being a common enough fighter, that if seen it would not be immediately apparent that it was an Alliance craft, unlike using a newer fighter such as the X-Wing. It was used in limited number of missions against Imperial targets in the core worlds. The Stealth Z-95 is a modified variant of the Clone Z-95 flown during the Clone Wars by the G.A.R. July 6, 201311 yr Are those stats from the D20 Star Wars RPG? Also Starfighters!!! yay the bestest best part of Star Wars :D This is a pretty cool MOC I'm hoping to find the stock Z-95 for cheap, as I love the X-wing and all it's relatives.
July 6, 201311 yr Author The stats are for the Saga Edition RPG, suitable for the Rebellion Era, and thanks. Edited July 6, 201311 yr by Knightsword
July 7, 201311 yr Nice starfighter! It looks a bit like a Bat-plane in all black, which just adds to the coolness factor. Purely out of curiosity, what is that poster in the background of?
