(Dutch) Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Hello everybody, This is my recreation of arc troopers Echo and Fives in minifigure form from the TV show Star Wars The Clone Wars. Designs for the figures were produced by myself . Echo and Fives were made using only clear waterslide decals. One neat fact about Fives is his helmet uses 15 different decals. Lets get to the figures shall we? Let me know in the comments below what you'd like to see me make next? -Dutch Quote
Brickdoctor Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Good to see you being a more active member of EB, now. You say that there're fifteen decals in that helmet -- I have to say that they look printed (at least to this untrained eye ), because the application looks very clean. Quote
ManInATopHat Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Those are awesome! Great detail, beautiful colours. High quality I can tell. Also, I like how you used a mini figure "clutch" hand on the torso of Echo (I think it's Echo). Lego creativity right there. Quote
Fives Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Love this Fives fig! Shame LEGO never did an official version. They really missed a chance with those Umbarra sets. Quote
The Ghost Racer Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Amazing work, great details and final look Quote

jcmeyer5 Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Wow... nice work. Definitely jealous as I am trying to figure out how to do some for my son. Quote
Marmik Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 (edited) Hi, Instead decals I used Pactra acrylic paints. Surface prepared with sandpaper (grit size 1200). I used 0 and 00 brushes. Here is result. As you can see I decided to paint "normal hand" on Echo's phase I armor. My son is playing figures intensively for 5 days and there is no damage of paint. I made this test on helmets originaly painted by Lego with some small erros (black and gray paint). Edited October 22, 2013 by Marmik Quote
