Trollishs creatures that live in cavey regions. Their large claws are adept at breaking rocks, and their other arm can twist back and forth rapidly as a weak drill.

When mutated by a brain slug, it becomes a clumsy brute, capable of smashing just about anything, from rocks to small woodland animals. It retains its drill, and uses it as a grotesque weapon.

The mutated one is super cute ! I love it ! Unfortunately, the two versions, even if they have a similar shape, don't really look like each other. :/ That might be because the "normal" one is dark green and the mutated one is regular green, or because of the parts selection : they only seem to have the Rahkshi head in common. Also,I have one question, where are the green Nuva chest armors from ? They're not listed in green on bricklink. If it's painted, you did there an excellent job !

EDIT : Wait... Why am I in the Lego Action Themes section ?

Yep doesn't belong here lol!

Love mini mocs, and the fact you put so much into it is great!

Though I wish that the brain had a mask to cover it, but it still works.

Also Drill Arm=Win.

Great Moc And Good Luck!

Nice build, Grayson, but to be quite honest I see barely any resemblance between the original and mutated forms.

I had the big guy already built, then I went on vacation. I was rushed to finish the second one, so it may not be that great :P

And check your filters on BL, because the green chests are only international! They come from a store that gets lots of mold tests, but they won't tell me how they get such awesome recolors D:

But if you like painted bonkles, check out some of the stuff I sell :D http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=9129

Thanks! I was going to have the slug more covered, but I fiddled around and liked the trollish face XD

Rush build, and you know it :P Note how I didn't even have any natural light to work with except on the first pic, which I managed to snap before dinner :P

I like the mutated form; it both manages to capture the HF vibe and look recognizable from its original counterpart, which are two of the most important things for entries in this contest.

The little guy is cute, but not quite as HF-ish as he could be, which is a bit sad. The weapon arm of the transformed version, though, is very cool.

Neat design. You did well to keep the body parts of the two designs analogous, so the drill arm becomes a drill arm, the claw becomes a claw, etc.

The one thing that bothers me is that other than the "after" version being bigger, it doesn't feel that much more fearsome than the "before" version. Its drill arm becomes smaller, its claw becomes more rounded, and even its feet lose their pointed toes. It definitely feels mutated and deformed, but only its head, right shoulder, and back really end up feeling considerably more aggressive than the original. I would have expected the claws and drill arm to become larger, the toes to become even more claw-like, etc.

Still, this is a very nice MOC that manages to adhere well to the contest theme, even without using a whole lot of Hero Factory parts. Good luck in the contest!
