"Phew..." Alexandre sweats. FX.

EDIT: Oops, EW! I mean.

Alex was sweating. He was the only Party Member man enough to give the directions, but it was a heavy burden, and under the stress, he made a wrong move. He ordered EW, and the EWE the Party towed along took a bite from the grass... and died.

The Party now had 13 Sheep, but they'd found another track of poisoned land. A tear formed in the Shepherd's eyes. The businessmen looked sheepish. Another sheep joined the efforts. Hopefully it wouldn't meet the same fate as the last two.

OOC: I'm back

So to clarify the numbers take into account the amount of bad land around it in a 3x3 square?

Yes. It's this game, but you have to form a path instead of clear the board, and you don't lose automatically after stepping on a "Mine."

Having decided on EX, the party moved forward... and their sheep died.

15x05uf.jpg "I only have 13 sheep left." Sobbed the shepherd.

OOC: Does the X count as a mine adjacent EY?

Do you mean the X I used for numbering? No. Do you mean the X in EX? Yes. Xs are "Mines." I'm very sorry if that wasn't clear. Also, that's a two not a one, if the font's troubling you. There are two Xs touching in some way, be it by corner or by side, the square you just stepped into. One of those Xs has already been discovered.
