Dannylonglegs Posted October 7, 2013 Author Posted October 7, 2013 "Phew..." Alexandre sweats. FX. EDIT: Oops, EW! I mean. Alex was sweating. He was the only Party Member man enough to give the directions, but it was a heavy burden, and under the stress, he made a wrong move. He ordered EW, and the EWE the Party towed along took a bite from the grass... and died. The Party now had 13 Sheep, but they'd found another track of poisoned land. A tear formed in the Shepherd's eyes. The businessmen looked sheepish. Another sheep joined the efforts. Hopefully it wouldn't meet the same fate as the last two.
Fred Daniel Yam Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 OOC: I'm back So to clarify the numbers take into account the amount of bad land around it in a 3x3 square?
Dannylonglegs Posted October 7, 2013 Author Posted October 7, 2013 OOC: I'm back So to clarify the numbers take into account the amount of bad land around it in a 3x3 square? Yes. It's this game, but you have to form a path instead of clear the board, and you don't lose automatically after stepping on a "Mine."
Capt.JohnPaul Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 "EY or EX are our best bets. What do you think William?"
Fred Daniel Yam Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 "EY or EX are our best bets. What do you think William?" Let's try EX
Dannylonglegs Posted October 8, 2013 Author Posted October 8, 2013 (edited) "Are you sure? Alex, Would you mind confirming?" Edited October 8, 2013 by Dannylonglegs
Capt.JohnPaul Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 "Confirm, if the map is right, we should be safe."
Dannylonglegs Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 Having decided on EX, the party moved forward... and their sheep died. "I only have 13 sheep left." Sobbed the shepherd. "My money!" Lamented the Shadeaux Representative.
Dannylonglegs Posted October 10, 2013 Author Posted October 10, 2013 "No, bad idea. EY must be right." "I hope so." sobbed the shepherd.
Capt.JohnPaul Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 OOC: Does the X count as a mine adjacent EY?
Dannylonglegs Posted October 10, 2013 Author Posted October 10, 2013 (edited) OOC: Does the X count as a mine adjacent EY? Do you mean the X I used for numbering? No. Do you mean the X in EX? Yes. Xs are "Mines." I'm very sorry if that wasn't clear. Also, that's a two not a one, if the font's troubling you. There are two Xs touching in some way, be it by corner or by side, the square you just stepped into. One of those Xs has already been discovered. Edited October 10, 2013 by Dannylonglegs
Dannylonglegs Posted October 11, 2013 Author Posted October 11, 2013 The Group moved forward. The sheep bleated thrice.
Fred Daniel Yam Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 "I'd say CX.." OOC: Can we move diagonally?
Capt.JohnPaul Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 OOC: Yes, we can go diagonally. "CX sounds good."
Dannylonglegs Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 The Party Moved to DX, whereupon, the sheep bleated thrice.
Capt.JohnPaul Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 "I'd say DW. We could get some more information. If we lose any sheep, I'm confident that will be the last one."
Dannylonglegs Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 The Party marched on to DW, the Sheep bleating thrice.
