If the Daily Bugle hadn’t come out then we would have had that set instead, and I’m still hopeful we get it in the future when the Daily Bugle is retired. If we don’t, at the very least I hope we get a good view of it so we can build it ourselves.

But it wasn't a last-minute switch. They said an early concept was a newspaper place, but it didn't sound like it was anything other than ideas and sketches. They had a decent schedule to work on the jazz club.

The Jazz Club is one of my favorite sets and I prefer it over the Museum for various reasons. But back to the thread topic, some of the detailing on the haberdashery looks a bit weak to me, particularly the top floor area. It doesn't look cohesive. I'm sure it'll look better once we get some better pics and different angles.

Still no official pictures and brick_clicker removed that video that had a picture of the Tudor Corner which makes me believe that it is the real deal.

Yep. All signs are looking good that it is real. Fingers crossed!! I built a new shelf in my room to fit it last night so hope it is true :)

I’m so excited for this, but also quite excited for the modular theme. Are we going to get more British themed buildings? Or perhaps from other nations?

@hikoukiit would be interesting to see a Spanish style modular. I think it could work well.

This Tudor corner seems to have the museum in the background. Was that modular intended to be British as well?

I think it's just that it's the most recently produced modular. I suspect it's a cropped image of all the available modulars.

Yes i do view Natural History Museum as British becuase of its archiecture

Do we have any idea when they're going to officially announce it?  Given that it's nearly December?

It'll be after all the sales have finished and people have spent all their money. 

I expect it will be announced in the first week of December.

Boutique hotel is definitely Spanish colonial style. It's a building that you could find in Cuba. Or in the video game Tropico when you are in the colonial era.The presidential building in that game looks somewhat similar.

Museum is an early 19th century French empire style. When watching Napoleon in theatre last year I noticed a lot of buildings  in the  movie that are similar to the museum.

That hotel does remind me of my trip to Italy.

Any idea when we'll get additional pictures, perhaps the interior? Maybe Black Friday?  Really excited about the exterior and curious about the inside.

Hi. Alex Nunes mentioned in his latest video that there is an embargo on the new set until Dec 4th

The problem with anything Asian is that the likes of Monkie Kid and Ninjago have that covered already. (including the giant Ninjago City modulars)

I heard one youtubber mention the embargo on the modular was december 4th. Guess there will be shitloads of movies then. Makes sense after black friday etc. Official announcement not much later, creator video and then pre-order :D

About the Jazz Club: I would not say people hate it, but isnt it just clear how simple the fassade was? Like cynw said, it looks like a creator Set. Its just a block with some tiles attached to some bricks modified  :D and its just a block of a house.

I have not built the Jazz Club yet, so I cant say how well the interior is and how much fun it was, but I see why its one of the "worst" or "least famous" Modulars is. On the other side it has a theme that people love, again. Hmm.

Regarding next Modular: I am curious if Lego will ever try to make something like a Sky Scaper apartments building? I mean,... Daily Buggle was also possible, right? And I consider that a Sky scaper in the Lego world.

Lego would be bold in releasing this Tudor corner as it is a style never before released in modular form and to fit in the city layout. The Marvel buildings are already modular style so skyscrapers are not really new to the city layout. I would not be opposed to it though. But I would like to see Lego do more of these unique styles, or follow up on some of the unique styles they have done in the past (Parisian restaurant, Boutique hotel, etc.)

I wouldn't mind seeing something like a 4-story modular released. Getting some height variation in the city would be great. A skyscraper would stick out a bit too much, imo. I agree that Lego should do some follow ups that match previous architecture styles so little neighborhood or street 'themes' can be built up. Like a French Quarter, for example.

These are great ideas.

Lego seems to be very selective in what they release as a modular. Fortunately, there are other themes that can possibly have modulars in their lineup. 

I think the building looks great. My only gripe is the 1x2 grid tile used to represent ‘bacon’, which they did before. It doesn’t really look like bacon. Either print a regular 1x2 tile or don’t include bacon. Almost as bad as the ‘chick and the duck’ in the Friends apartment.
