Someone said that it will be available from 1st to 7th of January. I personally wish it was another vehicle to go along with the modulars, but well. I am not interested in it, as we already have a newspaper stand in the Police Station.

For me, II’m interested in getting that GWP but i feel the timing is not great, espically when you are catching up with paying bills after holiday seasons.

Its reassurance for TLG that people will spend money. January is a slow month, since everybody spent their money during the Holidays...:)

It's a cute set and all, and there's really nothing wrong with it, I actually always enjoy when Lego makes their modulars more dense and crowded, since it feels "more lived in".

However, this to me is more of the same. I really wish they would really do something ballsy and completely fresh. I know I'll never get my parking garage, but at least give us a post office.

Looks amazing. I love the angle at the front of the pub.

Is the chimney sweep mixed up? He has the detailed printed legs that match with the jacket torso on the mannequin. The mannequin has plain black legs. Just seems odd to have coat tails on the legs without a coat.

On further reflection, maybe I was a little too soon to judge. I think it does have enough to set it apart from previous sets. I guess I got caught up on the word "Inn" too much. This may be the best set since the Book Shop.

Based on the designer interview (check YT), all decorations are prints. YAY! :)

As it should ALWAYS be for the modular line.

I LOVE this modular--I knew I did from the leak pics but the more I see the more I love.  Also, Minifigure Series 27 Cat Lover seems destined to be the partner of the cat owner in the roof apartment.

It's a perfect fit for the Cat Lover.

So the rumors were pretty accurate after all; and it's a very nice modular. Though I'm not sure if it'll fit in my collection. The GWP is unfortunately boring. A vintage British delivery truck would have been awesome.

I'd really like to see some Asian style modular in the future, perhaps with a little colonial touch if it's not too political.

I’m really liking this one.  It definitely has a British air to it, and it’s the sort of thing you might find in a small town or village.  I’m not sure the angled front of the pub offers much extra, other than an interesting angle to stop it being all flat, which is something that a lot of the modulars do suffer with.  I do think the haberdashery should be a millinery though, as he seems to only sell hats.

Definitely a day one purchase for me and I hope to get the GWP too, as it does kind of fit in.  British men stereotypically used to grab the paper on the way home from work, stop in the pub for a ‘swift half’ to read the paper, before stumbling home sometime later.

According to Bricksie the GWP will be specific to the set 1-3th and then open to any set from the 4-7th of January. Very interesting, do not think they have done that before however depends on if the stock will last that long :shrug_oh_well:

It’s true that it’s always but not since Palace Cinerma. The move threaten only has stickers in modular building collection.

I lays wish for Japanese ramen/sushi house or Chinese restaurant or even Thai. Not sure about a colonial touch tho.

It’s new to me. I never heard taht before i remember Moving Truck and Rretro Food Truck sets were available one month after jazz Club and Natural history Museum’ release dates.

SSo now i am seriously thinking about ordering Tudor Corner on January 1. My wallet wont be happy sexually after all of those holiday spendings!

Did anyone read that Sunflower Lanyard Initiative that Lego will be taking part in with their LEGO sets to supporting non visible disabilities? They have minifigures in some sets including the Tudor Corner with the sunflower print. Its cool to see.

Also, the GWP is ok. I vehicle would have been better? I don't care for GWP seem off place, meaning that it's not apart of the build. It has to be placed out on the street. I guess it could be modified to be placed on the sidewalk, but then it'll look weird.

I would not disagree with you on a parking garage. Perhaps Lego could do that under a different theme? I would not mind if they do a dollhouse-incomplete back type of set that you have to buy multiple sets of and MOC into something meaningful. LOL

But I think Lego likes a modular building that can host some vignettes or stories. I believe it is a modular tradition. I don't think a garage would have a lot of stories to tell.

I like how even the 'fish and chips' rumor had some truth to it! LOL

Singapore is one country that celebrates its heritage that is a mix of east and west. Ditto the Philippines. I'd love to see some sets from Asia, too!

And japan too - it does have influence front the West.

For me the exterior is really nice, but the interior as usual is very disappointing.

Spaces are sacrificed to stuff more shops inside and I never like that. It seems they don't have the courage to make spaces big enough and more realistic. The pub is cramped, I don't understand why they add another tailor's shop, when one already existed in the jazz club. The watchmaker above is interesting, but again, this reduces the apartment to a dump.

It seems that Lego designers don't like houses or apartments.

Also, to me it still seems poor in terms of construction techniques. Nothing really new.

Apartments ate boring really… anyway, Have you build it already? I am saving my judgement after I get my hands on it.

There is review on Tudor Corner - it’s from jay’s Brick Blog.

Brickset and New Elementary have also posted their reviews.

Is it just me that the umbrella lady is very obviously a nod to Mary Poppins? Some hints dropped by the designer in the interviews, and even just the hat / umbrella / chimney sweep inclusion seems like it's a very obvious wink - yet any reviews I've watched don't seem to have cottoned on.
