But it's an easy fix if you want it added, at least.

I guess so, just a tap piece and a lever, could also have 1x1 trans yellow round cylinder with a 1x1 round white tile on top to represent a pint

Altering seeing waht’s isnide the building, it doesn’t look like Tudor Corner has any reference to Castle themes other than “Old Guarded Inn” sign.

Is it just me that the umbrella lady is very obviously a nod to Mary Poppins? Some hints dropped by the designer in the interviews, and even just the hat / umbrella / chimney sweep inclusion seems like it's a very obvious wink - yet any reviews I've watched don't seem to have cottoned on.

I do hope you are correct on those hints. That would be very exciting to see a Mary Poppins set!

I really like the building, but I’d prefer if the top part was filled with brown instead of white, so it would look more broadly European and not specifically English Tudor.

Whats is in the smaller establishment? A Hairdresser or a Tailor? We had both already - in the DO and JC, so it seems like a cop out…

Its Haberdashery :)

I think that the sign is enough. Luckily the building could be easily moded to fit medieval town street.

Oh my gosh the Tudor Corner is such an upgrade from the past few modulars. I think it's the best one since Detective's Office, and the first one I'll have bought since the Bookshop in 2020. The building techniques in this are insane, from the diagonal tiles, to the upside-down turntable for the stovetop to the SNOTed interior staircase which uses the slight bracket overhang to condense the footprint. The exterior is handsome, warm-feeling, and the colors and layers play off of each other beautifully (I especially think the chimneys really bring it all together). My favorite interior bit is definitely the clockmaker’s workspace! I think that’s such a brilliant idea because we as Lego fans tinker in a lot of those same ways, so it's meaningful without being so outright like the Lego fan’s apartment in the town square set. Not to mention it adds so much “vibe” factor to the build as a whole.

I do think some areas look a bit haphazard though. A general rule I've learned from making my own modulars is that upper floor facades should not be taller than the ground floor's facade because it will end up looking a bit weird and top-heavy, like a stick figure with a long torso and small legs; and that's how I would characterize the haberdashery building. The entrance archway is cut short by the sign and then we get a super tall bay window right above, and the grey striping on the sides only emphasizes the height. I think if they had taken another crack at it by putting the sign on the same plane as the dark tan section of the Inn, it would have worked out for the better visually. I also don't think the colors on the back seem very well planned out, but I do like the way the tan and dark grey work out for the interiors though.

I think we developed the same idea, but the designer came up with it himself.

I think a Lego set has a development time of at least two years and I thought about that scale at the beginning of 2023 to then I publish my modular at the end of the year, but I do it before Lego.:classic:

Wish there was a like button - agree with you!

I also think it's one of the most adaptable sets we've had to date

I think it's very exciting

While waiting for January 1 to purchase Turdor Corner, I kinda hope lego would do 16x32 modular building set for summer. Just make them more affordable, i guess. There re so many possibilities for Lego to design, such as seance, bowling alley, Christmas antique toy shop, townhouse, clinic (medical, psychological, etc), a small movie threater, laundromat, Japanese ramen shop, clothing/shoe shop, travel agency, apartment, botanical garden, cemetery, haunted run-down townhouse, johnny thunder’s headquarter, jewelry store, you name it… it’s just fun to arrange 16x32 buildings around within our modular city just like we ahve Bookshop and Pet Shop.

I second that!

Although in recent years, some other theme would typically release some modular compatible build.

I already started building. I plan to use tan instead of the bright-light-blue.  Most of the building in my 'town' are tan.  I also will duplicate the exterior of the 2nd level to make the entire Tudor Corner taller.  I have done the same for the last 4-5 modulars.  My last BL shipment will arrive tomorrow with some necessary parts to duplicate the 2nd level. Anyone else planning to change color or make a taller version?

I saw someone post instructions for duplicating the middle floor - LEGO MOC Tudor Residential Floor by Brick Artisan | Rebrickable - Build with LEGO

It doesn't show this added to the modular for all four floors, but it made me think the styling would be too unbalanced, with just a tiny bit of Tudor timber framing. I wonder if it's possible to do the additional floor in the same black and white style to make more of a clear architectural style?
