lightningtiger Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 N-no, don't give them any ideas!! My guess is a hospital. Hospital on a 32x32 baseplate would have to be very tall to fit the basics into it. Anyway, we are only guess......aren't we ? Quote
Agent 86 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Oooooh! I like CM4Sci's guess of a "hospital". I like it a LOT! Quote
BrickFit26 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Hmmm, i wonder how much of a guess that guess is Quote
Buzzetta Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 I would like something more like the palace of Versailles In France. The Disney castle is not very interesting in my opinion nor will it be a good Lego set As far as whether or not it will be a very good set... I see this set attracting a lot of desirability outside the Lego collecting circles. I believe that this will be a sought after Disney set long after it is retired by the Disneyanna collectors. Quote
cosmolon Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 (edited) i keep saying that they should make like the principal house of the house, like a mansion or palace. if they make a Versailles it would be like the recently launched set of the English parliament,so no interiors or minifigures- habitable. Edited July 24, 2016 by cosmolon Quote

They are not minifigure scale. Quote
Athos Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Hospital would make a lot of sense. We've recently gotten bandaged figures, crutches, wheelchair and babies for the pediatric unit. Plus there is the surgeons hat, the mold for which has not been reused. I don't like the idea of a train station. There is nowhere for the tracks to go, to allow it to fit with the other modulars. langezwieper Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 "Guess" Im getting curious why is it "guess" between "? I'm trying to follow along but I'm clearly missing something here haha Quote
Agent 86 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Some members make very, very, very good ... almost clairvoyant "guesses". CM4Sci is one of those members! Quote
cosmolon Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 can CM4Sci guess how many floors the possible hospital would be? would it be a corner building? Quote
CM4Sci Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 can CM4Sci guess how many floors the possible hospital would be? would it be a corner building? ...To continue my guess I will guess 4 floors. Quote
Terrasher Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 ...To continue my guess I will guess 4 floors. My, my. Were these guesses to be surprisingly accurate, it'd be quite a jump in size from the latest modulars we've been getting. Quote
Vindicare Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 can CM4Sci guess how many floors the possible hospital would be? would it be a corner building? I can say with almost 100% certainty that it is not a corner building. Unless they stray from the pattern. ...To continue my guess I will guess 4 floors. Oh my stars & garters! I hope it's not. That'll be WAY too expensive. Quote
sebitsena Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 I guess the main colour of the building is not going to be white because the bank is in this colour yet. I guess it will be red or dark tan. What do you think about it CM4sci? ^^ Quote
Agent 86 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Maybe the fourth floor is simply the helipad? But, I don't think helicopters would fit with the "general" time period of the Modulars (excluding the computer in Town Hall and other exceptions). Maybe it's four floors because part of the baseplate is taken up with the ambulance bay which is a ground floor construction (kind of like the lane / alley beside the Market Street building)? Then again, I'm not sure many "cottage hospitals" even had an ambulance bay? Or maybe, with so many other $350 (USD) sets on the market, they decided to aim higher with the next Modular? Quote
Brick Dangerous Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 I think it might be prudent to point out that the American definition of a 4-story building differs from the European one. In America, the ground floor counts as the 1st floor as opposed to at least some European countries where we begin to count with the (American) second floor. So an American 4-floor building would then be a 3-storey building. I apologize if everybody is now either totally confused or knew this already. I nevertheless signed up to point it out. That's how nice of a person I am. Quote

sebitsena Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 This thing would be taller than the Town Hall which is supposed to be the tallest building in a city according to Astrid... Hope there will be a car, with a better design than the last limo ;) Quote
CM4Sci Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Ooh yeah we have been needing a new hospital and ambulance for a whole.. Plus we have wheelchairs, crutches, all sorts of stuff now. All we need is a doctor with a reflector hat in the CMF series. Quote
Sammael Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 This thing would be taller than the Town Hall which is supposed to be the tallest building in a city according to Astrid... Hope there will be a car, with a better design than the last limo ;) Well, Astrid no longer seems to work on the series, so... but also, the Town Hall has a really tall ground floor as well as a really tall clock tower. I can easily see the hospital being shorter but with 4 floors total. Quote
CM4Sci Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Before people yell at me if we don't get a hospital, hospital is a guess. It's a guess, I don't know the modular and made no indication with those comments that I did. Didn't we not know the Bank until the NIGHT before the reveal? Quote

I don't own the Town Hall, but looking again at the pictures, the first floor and the clock tower are a big part of the height indeed ;) Quote

I already wrote in my diary that you & you alone are responsible if it's not a hospital. Quote
