Now that would be cool. A look back & a short blurb from the designers would be a fun watch. 

They should do a 15th anniversary special reveal video just for the new modular and the gwp.

It’s Black Friday here. So i don’t know if there will be a reveal today but my patience is burning away too!

Too late for it to happen now...must be sometime next week! Still no leaked images either...

Kohl's no longer has any of the big exclusive sets. Sold out, no longer listed.

Sadly I kept meaning to grab the Corner Garage. It's my least favorite set in the modern series and the reason for the $200 price point we now get every year. But it looks like it's sold out. I was only going to grab it now so if I didn't want it in a year I could sell it for twice as much. haha

I asked LEGO via Twitter last week and it is sold out / retired.

I know. I regret not getting it during the last double points in October, that's when it sold out. Amazon had it on Friday for normal price and it sold out there today.

The Kohl's set was Assembly Square and the Black Smith because they had good deals on those.

@Maple same. I thought they would have more stock for the holiday season, but they didn't. Sometimes Amazon has them available at the regular price.

The next modular reveal is scheduled for the "second to last week of December".

Edit: I was told the release is still scheduled for Jan 1st.

Second to last week of December ? Not too much time for the budget… The pandemic will have taught us all a word: patiennnnnnnce…I wonder which will come first: the reveal of the 2022 Lego Modular or the arrival of my car, delayed in production because of the chip shortage !

I was also told many of 2021's product announcements had been planned for two weeks prior to release but were announced sooner because of leaks(implying the same could happen here).

Some of the earlier modulars were not released in Jan. Fire Brigade in September, Palace Cinema was March, Pet shop was May. I don't recall when the announcements were.

More and more companies are making announcements roughly two weeks prior to product launches and Lego just seems to be following that trend. The impression I received was the modular announcement was a result of this shift.

Thanks for the info - it's going to be a long two weeks! I wonder if they are going with the historical approach again (given the lukewarm reception to Downtown Diner and Corner Garage).

I can't help but notice the highlighted days on the December Lego calendar. May mean something...or nothing at all.
