Exactly. I remember the designer for the Corner Garage said something similar, that it was meant to start a new street or something like that.

If this set turns out to bee real, I suspect that they break pattern again. Just like they did wiht Downtown Diner (after Assmebly Sqaure) a new street layout.

A fun quesiton just pops into my mind. If this is a real Modular Building, i wonder if it does have some references to Castle themes?

Well, there's the goat reference on the plaque.

And the name "Guarded Inn" itself might be a reference to the inn in the MTS.

Sure but two inns have different names.

I am still a little bit skeptical about whether it's legit or fake. I wish it to be true. Because if it is, I will definitely buy it and mod it to fit in my medieval town. This perfect, innovative way to approach a modular theme, and I am glad, they went that extra mile to make it busy and interesting at the same time. I am looking forward to more photos, especially of the backside of the building and interiors.

Judging by the comments, if this is not the next modular, this building will be a tough act to follow for the "real" one.  The top seems Tudor, but the rest of it is harder to pinpoint with the type of style.  I would imagine Staple Inn in London provided inspiration for the top.  It is definitely a nice looking modular.  Too bad they did not repeat what they did last year and make it available before Christmas.

Considering that most places the leaked picture was posted have removed the images I'm betting it was the real thing.

I was just about to post this too.

The things seem to be clear.

Time to look ahead for the 2026 Modular:

After I've seen the big watch at the fassade, I'd love a clocksmith/jewelery store. Maybe next to a post office or a hatter.

I love this old-fashioned style.

Best, Modular, Ever.

From that first Picture, it just looks amazing. The details, the colors, the size. It looked like a Moc or something from other alternatives.

Especially comparing this to the Jazz Club, wow..day and night.

Yeah the Jazz club was weak. Didn't get it. This new modular however is absolutely looking fantastic.

Just a thought - But I think that’s actually Pippin Reed from the ‘90s Adventurers theme outside the Haberdashers shop? We know she was in the recent Orient Express set, Johnny Thunder has been in the City jungle sets this year and last year’s modular History Museum had Dr Kilroy as the Curator.

It’d be pretty cool if the guy with the mustache sitting outside the Inn was the pilot Harry Cane too, but alas I don’t think they have current printing that’s similar enough to his flying jacket right now.

I did like tha Jazz Club AND I like this one, if the photos are of the real deal.

I really don't get what people have against the Jazz Club. I really like it, the whole night club entertainment vibe. It's in my top 5 actually. Parisian Restaurant has been my number 1 for years. But this new one has a fighting chance to take the top spot.

The most convincing evidence (to me at least) that this is the real deal, is that it features the new flower elements introduced in the Ideas Botanical Garden. It seems very unlikely to me that a MOC builder would have already incorporated these pieces in such a way. Not impossible, but unlikey.

I really like the building, but I’d prefer if the top part was filled with brown instead of white, so it would look more broadly European and not specifically English Tudor.

Whats is in the smaller establishment? A Hairdresser or a Tailor? We had both already - in the DO and JC, so it seems like a cop out…

Apparently it’s a haberdashery.

I had to google that. A sewing supplies shop. Similar to but distinct from a tailor.

Yeah it’s a Haberdashery, you see them in a few small old town places still. I actually expect Lego will link the Haberdashery & the Tailor’s shop together tbh, where the Tailor from the Jazz Club will end up getting his supplies from the Haberdashery.

Most likely.

It looks like Fire Brigade, Palace Cinema and a Junior set thrown together. I did get it eventually but it's in the most secluded spot in my city layout.

I found the Jazz Club quite basic, on the outside at least, compared to other modulars.

The poor colour scheme, lack of advanced techniques on the facade (seriously, some of the work would be at home in a generic creator set) and various other issues meant it’s also my least liked set, however considering it was a last minute addition due to the team having to scrap the Newspaper / Printing Press Modular Building set I can give it a lot of leeway.

If the Daily Bugle hadn’t come out then we would have had that set instead, and I’m still hopeful we get it in the future when the Daily Bugle is retired. If we don’t, at the very least I hope we get a good view of it so we can build it ourselves.

Personally I adored the color scheme of the Jazz Club. I love bold triadic color schemes, and the Jazz Club pulled it off well in my opinion.

Agreed. And I love that the yellow color can have a noctournal glow next to nightclub.
