Alasdair Ryan Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 You should add a bit more to the rear end of the truck. What about making a sliding fifth wheel with the left over parts? Quote
efferman Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 the back end is not yet finished. iam thinking about some things which can be done with the parts . for exaymple an no electrified compressor. a lever on the valve is moving a transmission, which rotates the small pump, when the valve will be switched up or down. Sato Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Why not use the black 11x3 panels behind the side skirts to mimic the top of the fuel tanks? Don't know if it's possible but if it is it'll look better then nothing I assume. Quote
efferman Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 thats a good idea, i will definetly try it Quote
olaf9198 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 It already looks great . Nice use of most of the panels, keep it up! Quote
Someonenamedjon Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 I think you should replace one of the fuel tanks for the battery box, with the switch facing out. Quote
efferman Posted July 18, 2013 Author Posted July 18, 2013 i will have no electrics in this moc, so why i should have an out of scale battery box? Quote
skriblez Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) This model makes me want to buy 2 42008 sets. Really nice work Efferman Edited July 18, 2013 by skriblez Quote
Tubby Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 The gear on the back of the cab, is that the HOG steering wheel? Nice work on this model, it looks very much like the Aerodyne you were aiming for. Quote
Sato Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 it works fine Wasn't really sure about this when I first saw it yesterday, (Even though it's my own suggestion) But it's better then it just being empty space I guess? Maybe it's just the angle of the Photo. (I'd like to see it from the front.) The model itself is looking great so far. (And I presume it's nearly finished.) Quote
efferman Posted July 18, 2013 Author Posted July 18, 2013 thanks for the praise The gear on the back of the cab, is that the HOG steering wheel? yes it is Quote
