Captain Braunsfeld Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 Hi folks! My son has almost finished a very nice ship which he has named "Jupiter" This is where the name comes from: Given the fact that he is currently 10,5 years old, he's done a great job. Here is the captain: ... which allows a view of my son's cannon design ("my design" as presented as part of the "Flying Monkey" is actually based on his design). This weekend he is adding more work (adding sails, etc.) so the whole thing will look a bit different and will evolve over time. I hope you like this too. Best wishes from Captain Braunsfeld (and his family) Quote
Alfadas Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 It sure looks very nice! I like the captain fig, and the details. 10.5 years old and being able to build this, it promises a great builder!! Quote
Dutchy Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 (edited) I think you're getting a tough competitor! I really like the canon design, I would like to see the ship with sails and stuff. Edited July 13, 2013 by Dutchy Quote

Morthen Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Im quite impressed. it's not in rainbaow color's, and that cabin is extremely well made. My question is. Are you sure, you didn't help him just alittle bit ??? Quote
Grimmbeard Posted July 14, 2013 Posted July 14, 2013 Nice job! I don't think I was this good as a kid . Sorry to hear about it breaking, but hopefully it gets even better! Quote
jluck Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Wow, that's a lot better than I could do at his age (or possibly even now)! Keep up the good work and good luck with the rebuild. Quote
ManInATopHat Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 It's a nice ship, tell your son I only have two little suggestions. 1. Expand the ship's length, it looks sort of short and funny. Perhaps extend it a little more? 2. A bit too much yellow, it would look better with more black. Other than that, it's a really awesome ship! Your son has an eye for detail, that cabin looks great!
