For those of you who don't know, Dennis The Menace is a comic and animated TV-series created by Hank Ketcham(see www.dennisthemenace.com). I was myself a big fan of Dennis as a kid. Here is my LEGO version of Dennis The Menace.

Interesting fact:

In 1951 March 12 two different comics with the exact name (Dennis The Menace) went on sale, one in the U.S. by Hank Ketcham and one in the UK by David Law. None of the creators knew about each others work. Quite odd! The UK version later changed its name to "Dennis The Menace And Gnasher".

Nice representation of Dennis, Margarette, Joey(?) and of ourselves "good ol" Mr. Wilson.

The tree, treehouse and tire swing are also very nice as well.

I think you did an excellent job grasping the comic book nature of the series in the scenes. They are bright, playful, and detailed (but not overly in order to keep the simplicity of the comic). The tipped garbage can makes me chuckle, and I really like the tire swing and boards heading up to the treehouse. Nice job!

Brilliant! I loved Dennis growing up. He was such a menace for sure.

That head works great for Mr. Wilson, although I'd expect him to have hair, or at least the comb-over piece from the CMF line. But that head is brilliant with his stern expression in the background of each build. Haha

Very clever idea for the slingshot. I hadn't thought of that before. Does it fit in there okay or did you modify it at all? I've seen some people cut flex tubing to help make the fit a bit tighter.

Thanks for the comments!

I have actually already put up a project on Cuusoo, but was not sure if it was ok to "advertise" it here  Anyway here it is: lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/44000

Thanks! Well actually the "tube" for the slingshot is just Photoshopped after I took the photo.

The treehouse would be a very nice set anyway, be it Dennis the Menace or just a 'no-name' set with a group of lego city children playing in their retreat up on the tree.
