Darth Dino Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Hi rm8 can you please check both manuals or sealed bags (if you still have them, or on pictures) if the chassis on both cars is the same? I mean are the content and the building steps fot bags "1" are the same? Dino
Tubby Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 (edited) I would expect so although I haven't seen 41999 in the flesh. The rules of the comp said that the chassis had to remain untouched and as it was, so just the body is different. Once you get to the stage where you start adding the hinged frame for the body panels is where it'll start to differ from the 9398 version. A poster earlier said it performs better, how can that be if it's the same chassis with longer overhangs? I do like the look of the new body though, lots of cool muscle car influences. They are different. 41999 has other weight distribution.
