It's gotta have at least 6 seats, hopefully 8...with all the minifigs to go in them.

I seriously doubt that there'll be 6/8 seats, as that'd take up a lot of room and it'd be a pretty big/higher priced set. Just speculation though.

My guess is that they will do it Iron man 3/ Man of steel style, With 3 sets of each theme with matching price tags (1 £40,£20 and £10 for each theme)

^^

15/12 euros set

25/30 euros set

40/50 euros set

I think the Guardians sets will be:

A set similar to the Metropolis Showdown with Star-Lord and Ronan - $12

Set featuring Rocket and Groot against the Collector - $20

Large set with Star-Lord, Drax and Gamora VS Nebula and Yondu

But i also hope for a polybag with a BigFig Thanos

I like your idea of the sets! I doubt they would ever put a big fig in a polybag though

But they should, right. They won't do it but they should

I agree with you there.

i think we'll definitely get thanos eventually but not in a polybag, probably in a big set like the hulk helicarrier one

Too bad we won't get a Thanos minifig or big fig for a long time because he probably won't play a significant role until Avengers 3.

Also, I think if we get a Blackbird, which I would love, I think it needs to be at least as big as the Quinn Jet we got for the Avengers theme. A cockpit for two would be much better, a red quartz windshield, and a platform for Storm to stand on that comes out of the ship so she can make some serious storms would suffice.

I think we'll see 2-3 seats at most. Thats around what the Quinjet had.

Those would be awesome. For X-Men I'm hoping we at least get:

Blackbird with Cyclops, Storm, Magneto, Mystique and Sabretooth

Sentinel with Wolverine, Phoenix Jean and Beast

I don't know how LEGO would do it, but I really hope they could make the Blackbird sleeker than the Quinjet and at the same time have more of an interior. A cockpit for two and room for 4 others to sit in the back would be amazing!

I think that there should be a set similar to hulks helicarrier breakout for GOTG. I saw the comic con footage and they could put groot in that set.

I know we love all the wild speculation about the content of the new sets, but does anyone want to speculate with me about the release date of these amazing Xmen and GotG sets? Will this be the summer wave, or do we have to wait until winter for these beauties?

Eh, we're getting a set like that for Avengers Assemble next year already... :sceptic:

All About Bricks said they will be released in July.

Minifigure-wise, I'm expecting about 5 if it's as large as Moon_Knight suggests. We've got two already (Storm and Magneto) so I feel the most likely choices are gonna be Wolverine with a cowl, Cyclops, and another villain. Personally, I'd rather see Wolverine with the cowl, Cyclops, Gambit, and Archangel, though that's pretty unlikely. If I could think of a mainstream flying X villain he'd be taking that most likely slot.

Is there not a way of contacting the original poster of the X- men prelim? I've never used Instagram, but surely if we ask them they could tell us everything.

How many figures

How many sets

What's in each set

What characters are included

Size of set.

Hmm, how was the original source found?

Now that I've seen the movie Yondu, I'm a little disappointed. I have issues 17 and 18 of the original GotG. I really was hoping for the large bright red fin, as well as the golden blade weapon hand. Hopefully the original look will be in the tv show, though I likely won't actually get it with my local cable provider.

The fin will be CGI.

@Numbuh1Nerd - I would love a Wolverine with cowl minifig!

I'm still trying to understand why Magneto needs to be used when there are so many other X-Men villains like Mystique, Sabretooth, Mr Sinister (would be awesome), Mastermind, Blob, Toad, and many more.

My dream set would be an X-Mansion with Professor X, Cyclops, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Wolverine with cowl, Angel, and Juggernaut as the bad guy. Maybe the X-Mansion could be exactly like the Haunted House that LEGO has made. It would open the same way and be the same size. Inside, we could have a danger room and cerebro. That would be amazing. One can only dream I guess...

That would be perfect! I understand to a point why we're seeing Magneto again, as he's really the only mainstream X-Men villain, and then really one of the only ones that can fly (which is important in taking down a jet  ) I'm sure once we get our inevitable X-Mansion we'll get a new bad-guy.

Well, to be honest, i'd say Mystique, Sabretooth, Apocalypse and Mr Sinister are all at least as well known as Taskmaster or MODOK. Likewise, half the characters included in Star Wars are hardly well known, so I'm sure there will be other villains included as well, it won't just be one bad guy vs the X-men.

I wouldn't mind if Lego found a way to make a Mojo figure. ^o^

For the same reason that the USM sets feature the villains of ASM2. Lego is simply creating a product with similar characters and piggybacking off the hype for the movie. So with the X-men sets, even though they're not movie based, will contain some of the characters from the movie. Right now the big advertising push for XMDOFP features a lot of Magneto, Xavier and Wolverine, so undoubtedly Lego will want to include them as they'll be pretty popular with the kids. The movies tend to set the trend of which characters are going to be most popular and thus most profitable.
