DJ Bricks Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Well, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to include the variant Spider-man, as the ASM films take inspiration from the Ultimate comics like the TV show. Disney has had the rights to make products based on the film(s) since 2011. The 2013 SDCC minfig is Spider-man wearing the suit from the movie. Also, the game has an Electro based on the film (TT games rep confirmed it is based on the film). Well an ASM2 Spidey could be in the Ock set. And ive unlocked Electro's second form. It is his blue form, but it is based on the tv show not the film. Quote
Repeter Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Alright, that jrs Batcave set looks pretty fun...but $30 for 150pcs? Hmmm.... Quote
Lego-Dark-Knight0518 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Well an ASM2 Spidey could be in the Ock set. Well they could do it like the Mr. Freeze's Go-Kart thing from the old Batman theme and include The Dark Knight variant in a set that had nothing to do with the movie, but wouldn't LEGO have to make a set based off the movie first, like what they did with the Tumbler and Joker's Ice Cream Truck set? Not really, i think ASM2 Spidey, Ultimate comic book Ock and. A driver Quote
Markypops Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Managed to get a product list from work today which details all sets available to us. Surprisingly was looking for codes to see if I could figure out when the new Hobbit sets will be available, to no avail. But I found some 2014 sets listed including 76017 Super Heroes Avengers 1 and 76018 Super Heroes Avengers 2. No further details but seems to confirm sets for the Avengers movie next year! Quote

Thanks anyways though. (Btw, The new Hobbit sets will come out I believe worldwide Dec. 1st) Quote
Tom Jurassic Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I have a majority of the prelims for 2014 on here. (If someone could find all the City ones, that'd be great!) -Sci Cheers Sci! Quote
Merc4hire95 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Does anyone know the release date for the DC sets? Quote
DJ Bricks Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Does anyone know the release date for the DC sets? January, which is why we are getting pics now, thought why no Steam Roller pics. Though sets may come out in a couple week before that. Quote
Manx Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I liked the Batman line better, it was more realistic and more detailed, DC series is a lot more childlish, but afterall, Lego supposed to be made for children Quote
Legoman123 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Are we going to see picture of the Marvel sets at the same time as the other Batman set? Quote
just2good Posted November 16, 2013 Author Posted November 16, 2013 Are we going to see picture of the Marvel sets at the same time as the other Batman set? As the Steam Roller set? Most likely not. The Spidey/Avenger sets are planned for March or May, while the Batman sets are planned for January. Quote

tncatsfan Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 What do you guys think the price points on the new sets for January will be? Quote
just2good Posted November 18, 2013 Author Posted November 18, 2013 What do you guys think the price points on the new sets for January will be? For the US, just based off my estimates: $13, $20, $30 (confirmed), and $60. Quote
tncatsfan Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 thanks. I was thinking the riddler chase and the batcopter sets would both be $30. You thinking the riddler chase is cheaper or the batcopter? Quote
just2good Posted November 18, 2013 Author Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) thanks. I was thinking the riddler chase and the batcopter sets would both be $30. You thinking the riddler chase is cheaper or the batcopter? Indeed. I'm like pretty sure the Batcopter set will be $20. Edited November 18, 2013 by just2good Quote
kissyfur_ok Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 It has to be in that price banding, it has the same components as extremis sea port battle (one vehicle, 3 figs and an accessory). Quote
Sam892 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Indeed. I'm like pretty sure the Batcopter set will be $20. I'm guessing so will the Doc Ock/ Spidey set. Besides every Superheroes wave needs a 3 figure set worth around £20/$20, there hasn't been a wave without one ( first wave Lex vs Supes, second Shield Truck and Chopper showdown, third Arctic Batman and Spider bike, forth Extremis seaport and Black zero ). So the fifth wave will be the Bat copter and Sixth will be the Security truck attack. Haha LEGO sure know what we want. Quote
kermit Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 I think the set with the flash and the riddler may be around $40 given the size of the bat vehicle. Quote
