I've found pictures of all the minifigures that will be in the Hulk's Laboratory set! I'm assuming they will all look like they do in the pictures. Don't know about thor though

Those pictures have been around forever. They're not the confirmed variations of the set, but it's safe to say they'll be the versions in the set.

Yeah, I'd also love to get a version of Thor with his helmet.

Also, while I totally get the reasoning behind all of Spider-Man's whacky vehicles, and while I'm sure kids will eat the sets up, it does seem kind of silly and too Batman-ish. Spider-Glider, Spider-Bike, Spidermobile, Spider-Copter . . .

What, no Spider-Mech?

Thor looks to be in his 60's version and not his Avengers Assemble. Look, so maybe the version is different. In the set.

Was there ever actually a source that these were based on Avengers Assemble, or was that just something that we guessed? Because if the characters in those two sets use MODOK and now this Thor's designs from the video game and that leaked Hulk was official, then it doesn't seem so likely. Cap, Falcon, and Red Skull could be based on their appearances in the show, but from the images I'm looking at, they are close enough to their classic looks that it wouldn't make a difference. I'm not sure about Taskmaster, because I couldn't find any images of him in the show (has he appeared?) but the USM design is also the classic one.

Shhhh...LEGO might hear you. :look::grin:

I missed this image of masked Wolverine when I shared Thor. I think we might get it in one of the X-Men sets, since he doesn't have printed tights or boots.

Four sets and a polybag in one wave? Does anyone else think we're getting a little too much Spider-Man all at once? It seems a bit overkill for a character with hardly any costume variants and a bunch of wacky vehicles that all look the same. We're not getting that many new characters either.

I wish the Marvel line would find a better balance between Spider-Man, Avengers, X-Men and the MCU.

I would love a Spider-Mech!

If this is the hydra agent were getting, it'll be a great minifigure!

I hope we do - looks like potentially a nice reusable head for a custom Scorpion too.

I'd prefer the all-black movie version of the Hydra soldier, but that design is fine too. The more Marvel villains, the better.

I will, however, be extremely disappointed if the Cap/Red Skull set does not consist of the latter's custom car.

Well, ive rung up enough Avengers Assemble mechandise in the past 2 hours to tell you that Hulk had purple pants in the pictutes on the box and also concept art for tje show.

And the others look like the show, thor maybe but i just thought Robin had a hood in the prelims but has hair in finals, could we see something similar with Thor?

Taskmaster hasnt appeares yet in the show, but hes a major Avengers villian.

And yes, i hope we get that variant of Wolverine, so awesome. Maybe in a Sabretooth one on one set.

This DC wave isn't as bad as some people are saying, though the New 52 Nightwing is a horrific design. The Joker Steamroller is one of the worst set designs I have ever seen. Then there are the Marvel sets. While the sets themselves don't seem too bad and seem to have a good range of minifigures, I'm highly disappointed that we do not seem to be getting any sets from Thor 2 or Captain America 2. Thor 2 would have had unique sets and a wide range of characters, including some amazing designs such as Malekith and Odin. These are character we are not likely to see now, which is very disappointing in my opinion. As for Captain America 2, it disappoints me to see we are getting no sets from that simply because it means that we will not get the Winter Soldier in LEGO form this year, and probably not for a while. Even so, I am going to hold out hope that there will be an exclusive set for each movie, or just for Captain America 2 if one exclusive for both is impossible.

I really don't understand all the hate that the Steamroller is getting. :sceptic:

iz

I'm not really either - after the Penguin Duck boat, it's my favourite. But then the overall wow factor has sadly ended up being pretty low in this series, after a lot of eager anticipation by adults who should know better. I do think the steamroller was an idea that was funnier in concept than it has proved to be in its execution. The bizarre grabby wings on Batman's custom pimped Naboo starfighter are, well, bizarre, but I like the new Joker figure and I have 2 daughters who are both absolutely delighted to know they'll be able finally to get a Batgirl figure. And when it comes to it, I still like the idea of the Joker driving steamroller.

What do you think of it--why do you like it? (Not trying to be rude, but some reasons why you think it's nice would be helpful).

I don't think the concept of the set was bad, it's the execution of the set that's terrible--mostly due to the waste of parts that is the Bat-plane.

Yeah I'm also sad that we are not getting at least one Thor 2 set, if anything than just for the figures--specifically the dark elves. They would have looked spectacular; especially considering Lego could have used their LotR elf parts (Light grey hair/white ears...to die for!). Though I don't think they'd be hard to make customs of...hint, hint anyone...anyone?

I disagree, I believe this is easily the worst DC wave to date. The sets are all vehicles, 3 of which are remakes, all the minifigs are Batman characters except for the flash, and even then, he doesn't have his yellow boots. They gave us Damien Wayne before characters like Martian Manhunter of Cyborg, just because he's Batman related. the only "

original" set is the steamroller, and it is IMO hideous. The Marvel sets sound horrible too, but at least they get a good minifig selection.

Mary Jane looks awesome, same as the game accept for the hair style. Hopefully we will start to see more of the New Marvel figures over the next few weeks.

Found pictures of Power Man!

Again the same from the video game. He looks good but I'm guessing he comes with hair as he isn't bald in the cartoon. Maybe the hair is a new piece and manufactured in a different factory?
