Are you sure?Did you got that from a reliable source? If yes I can't wait to hear more news.

All About Bricks said we were, and they're always reliable.

They also said that we are getting a Green Lantern minifigure. And where is he?

He still could appear in TLM or future DC sets in 2014.

For the first wave we are getting five Marvel sets! And last year we got five sets... for the entire year. Looks like Lego is stepping up its game

Not really, sure there are at least 8 sets, but the DC/Marvel Junior sets equal out, so that leaves 7, and considering there was 1 missing this year, it equals out to nothing above average.

That was Brick Fanatics, not All About Bricks. Two different blogs. All About Bricks has always been right with their info.

That's right, and since All About Bricks had info on a later wave for Marvel and none for DC (http://allaboutbricks.blogspot.com/2013/09/lego-super-heroes-2014-rumour-list.html) is it safe to assume those four Batman sets are all we're getting next year?

Interesting, was this character featured in the comic books? (I know he's not in the movie)

(Oh, my #400 post on EB by the way!)

HYDRA'S a huge organization in Marvel comics, he's not an individual character, but sort of like a "goon" (agent) for HYDRA.

That's kind of what I thought.

He looks great. The H on the back of his head is a nice tough, although I do wish he had a more neutral facial expression. I mean they're not always attacking people; it would be weird seeing them so mad when their like running a factory or eating breakfast.

Wow, that's lazy, at least the last one came with them, but like you said it IS 2 lightsaber blades that are probably not going to be hard to find

That Doc Ock...............

I suspect LEGO (or Disney/Marvell) have made the decision that all the Spider-Man sets are going to be Ultimate-Spider Man based and therefore will contain the USM version of Spidey.

Same with Avengers, LEGO have made the decision to follow Avengers Assemble and not the movies or other cartoons.

I don't keep up with Ultimate Spider-Man, but I know for a fact that the Iron Spider suit was in there at some point, and by all the variety they have for the action figures, I'm sure there's been a few other suits at one point or another. Besides, if they got away with classic Doc Ock in a set, I'm sure they could toss Superior Spider-Man or Miles Morales's Spider Suit in a set somewhere. If there not going to give us a new suit, at least make Peter Parker (maybe in a battle-damaged suit?).

I hope we get: Storm, Jean Grey, Spiderwoman, Ms. Marvel, and Scarlet Witch! Marvel has some awesome females they just aren't utilizing them!

True! I kinda hope they give her those spider flaps that she has in the games though! It wouldn't be a total loss if they didn't though.

Modok looks amazing!! So much better than I thought he would! I thought they were going to print his head on one of those curved castle wall pieces -_-

Problem: Spiderwoman was an Comic Con exclusive. Isn't there a license to those that keep them from being in a set? I agree with you on your female character choices, and I'd add She-Hulk, Wasp, Invisible Woman, Psylocke and Jubilee, even though a couple of those have been made purist.

I was never a fan of the two trans sticks for his escrimas, so I made some similar to the Arkham City ones with the flick-fire missile pieces, a light blue trans stud, and a silver stud. They look alright and make a decent looking bo staff when combined with a lightsaber hilt.

I was about to poop my pants from excitement when I saw the new Marvel sets! MODOK, classic Falcon, Red Skull, Taskmaster (!!!) are all too good to be true. On the other hand, I'm extremely disappointed in the new Spidey sets. I hate the Electro and Goblin, but I do like the new Luke Cage, so I will have to get that set for him. I can't wait to see more pics and to see some of these X-Men that everyone is talking about

Doc Ock! The single pane funny thread will be filled next year with all of these figs, I can think of 3 already! But does anyone know if we're getting a second DC wave? I'v asked before but I'm eager to know, because All About Bricks had info on a second marvel wave, I just feel like the fact that they didn't post anything for DC means we won't get anything. And I really don't want to wait till 2015 for the mere possibility of a Black Canary.

Those Spidey sets do look dull indeed. I suppose the Doc Ock one is nice because it's got a classic Ock, and the truck is good and all, but still a truck. All I can think seeing the Green Goblin is that he will be useful to Castle builders…

As for the Avengers sets - great figures, '90s style sets. That 'lab' looks like it came straight out of Town Jr. and the Hydra tank isn't much better. The minifigures are so awesome, though, that it can be forgiven. The lab is a must-buy despite its short-comings as a set.

Yeah I tried that except without the studs. They're okay but I think maybe the best choice is the lightsaber sticks in light gray
