The Sentinel looks dumb, but i really love the idea of getting F4 sets! If they did do F4 and they had Galactus it better be bigger then anorexic Sentinel! The only problem with F4 is they won't make a new force field piece for Sue. There would have to be different variants of Sue (Invisible and Normal) and Johnny (Flame on and Off)

Here's hoping they'll release at least one F4 set next year to coincide with the reboot, the way they're doing with X-Men this year.

Didn't he base the costume off something he took from a Shi'ar Imperial Guardsman?

Yep! Fang was the Guardsman who lost his suit to Wolverine in Uncanny X-Men #109 I think. He wore it for only 2 issues. Artists on comic book changed, and so did Wolverine's costume, back to yellow and blue. In UXM #139, Wolverine went back to the brown and tan outfit til Jim Lee switched him back to the yellow and blue in X-Men #1 in 1991. So Wolverine had that tan and brown costume for 11 years.

Back on topic, I am ecstatic that LEGO is going with the tan and brown suit AND the cowl. The white eyes are the icing on the cake! It looks like 3 of the Minifigs have been revealed. I hope we see the rest sometime very soon! Are new LEGO sets revealed at the upcoming Toy Fairs? If so, I'm hoping that a Bigfig Colossus holds one of the spots in that set! For now, I have to suffer through mingling my Colossus minimate with my minifigs.

Haha I love minimates!

Also hope Jean is one of the unknown figures, but I doubt they'd put her in, it'll more than likely just be Cyclops and Sabretooth.

I'm glad LEGO did the smart thing and made the colors for Wolverine's cowl yellow and black. I personally prefer the yellow and blue scheme, and that cowl can easily be used for both figures.

The Sentinel image also has me curious about what might be in the robot's left hand, if anything. Be interesting if he was also holding Sabretooth.

Lastly, I don't know if anyone else heard, but apparently Avengers: Age of Ultron will feature Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, one of HYDRA's leaders. So there is a chance we might see a LEGO version of him in 2015  .

Yes, it was discussed in the multimedia forum, I believe it was Luna Lovegood who brought that to our attention.

EUREKA!!!! (Not really.)

I think at this point all we can do is over-accentuate our own expectations of this set to standards insurmountable of meeting. I love leaks as much as the next guy but it's already clear that this set will not please everyone... But at a $50 price point, is it even fair to expect it to?

As I said before, the most important thing TLG has to gleam from this set is how big the demand is for more X-SETS!! Then well have ample room for more complex builds and a more diverse spread of minifigs.

Until then, I'm trying to be patient over here...!

Colossus wouldn't be bad. I don't remember him being in the video game, but bigfig Juggernaut was and looked pretty cool, if we are fortunate enough to get a bigfig I'm hoping for him, personally. I guess Beast could be made one but I think he'd do better as a minifig-- really hoping we see him even though I imagine Cyclops is the only other good guy we get in this set.

I can confirm (without even having the game) that Colossus did appear, and he was a big fig. Beast was a minifigure, and I agree, Juggernaut would be great and I would prefer another villain in the set to appear, especially as a big fig.

I hope LEGO puts the big figs into high gear. So far we only have 2 Hulks and a Green Goblin. We could use a Juggernaut, as well as Abomination.

Off board topic, but I thought this was a pretty cool info graphic showing off Wolverine's costumes throughout the years - just so everyone has a visual. http://gizmodo.com/the-complete-visual-history-of-wolverines-suit-833014628

lego seems to like big figs at the moment so could be another one in this set

The only reason there were so many Big figs in the video game, was to give players choice. The game had new mechanics that only the Hulk could operate. This was fine but it meant that if a player didn't like using Hulk they were stuck with him. Hence why so many big figs were added.

That's not to say certain characters like Colossus and The Thing would have made it into the game, but both of these characters are not large enough to warrant big figs. Only a few characters like Hulk, red Hulk, Juggernaut and Blob really need to be big figs.

That's fair, I must not have unlocked him yet. I'm not that far into it, the game took a back seat to some of my other vidyagames this past fall/winter.

Yeah but I don't think it's necessarily just the video game showing they like bigfigs, since this year has given us another Hulk and a Green Goblin already (well not out, but confirmed). Groot seems almost certain with the GotG sets. I do agree that Thing doesn't necessarily need to be a bigfig but I think it's a valid interpretation of the character to make him one. I thought the Juggernaut bigfig in the game was awesome, though. So I'm totally on board for that becoming a real thing, if we could be that lucky.

Either way, I like bigfigs in general for this theme, I'd like to see more of them. Abomination and/or Red Hulk would be very welcome, though I don't see that happening for a while (since any Hulk-related sets next year will be Avengers 2-based, I'm sure).

I highly doubt Groot would be a big-fig. He will be a strange figure with some unique parts, for sure, but he doesn't fit the current 'big-fig' type since all of the current ones are very bulky characters while Groot is rather slender.

I'd like to see more characters like Dogpound. I think that would work for Thing and Blob pretty well, since it would make them big but not ridiculous. This is falling more in line with the Big-Fig discussion topic, though.

At one point Juggernaut smashed through the facade of the X mansion... And he was fighting fiercely with young Piotr Rasputin.

AND IT WAS GLORIOUS.

Slender or no, I imagine we'll get him the same way he appeared in the video game. I wouldn't mind him being brick-built or something, but I still think the bigfig route is most likely-- possibly a more unique mold than the Hulk/Goblin one? I wouldn't mind more Dogpound-style figures though, more unique parts compatible with base minifig parts would really expand the possibilities for characters. For thing, someone mentioned something like the arms from the Power Miners' smaller rock monsters (do they connect the same was as minifig arms or not? Never had any of those sets). That could work for Gorilla Grodd too, IMO. Not that we'll ever get an official Gorilla Grodd, I don't think we'll get any more Flash love than the Riddler set we got this year.

That was me, with the Power Miners monster arms idea. I've done this already. There is only shoulder articulation, and the hands have trouble holding most weapons, but the connection point is the same as a standard fig arm.

When we only had the concept art for GOTG, I had thought that Lego might recolor the headgear from the Mouth of Sauron fig. Since the official movie pics have come out, though, I don't think that particular mold will do.

Any chance you could snap a pic of that? I've never had or handled those power miner figs, curious to see what proportions the arms have on a figure. Also, Daniel's idea for Woody arms/legs for groot actually sounds pretty cool. Would be nice to see those arms/legs used for more than just Toy Story, seems like there's a lot of potential in those parts.
