Anyway, does anyone think that there would be room for both USM and ASM sets at the same time or same year since ComicCon gave away a ASM minifig as a raffle prize ?

I wonder when the next ASM film is be released ?

Is the Lego Super Heroes theme going off into multi-sub-themes for both DC and Marvel to cover film, TV and comic in way that Star Wars has with OT, PT, CW and Old Republic sub-themes ?

Well the US release is early May, but it gets released over seas in April. I could definitely see a couple USM sets in January and then a small 3 set wave to go with the movie in April along with a few Cap sets maybe.

Wow, based on the new pictures (a major thanks, by the way, UberlegoTV ) I'll definitely be buying the set only for the Flash minifig..

Aside from the Batman-fig, which is okay-ish, the rest is crap, in my opinion.

And I hardly ever feel that way about a set, let alone one in my favorite theme..

I'm a bit disappointed by how the Batman printing turned out. The belt looks rather plain, it's odd that they didn't use gold printing or anything. It just looks underwhelming. Maybe it will look a bit different in the final set.

And the more I see the Riddler the more I'm disappointed. That jacket is awful.

Thanks for the photos. I was very keen on getting a green-suited Riddler, until I saw them! What is the deal with that jacket? Amazing print quality, but it's bizarre. I'll stick with the Funhouse version after all, maybe with the addition of that yellow crowbar.

I like the batman printing but just wish it was all black. I don't like the back of the vehicle, Lego loves there moving back for the flickfire but I don't think it look that good up or down. The lack of flash boot printing surprises me given the amount of leg printing we are seeing now. Really hoping we see some more sets soon that we can look forward too knowing they are must buys. Where are my x-men sets. Although I think I was the only one that did not like what we can see from the video game with too many big figs and didn't love the look of some of the x-men. Back to LOTR forum I go to be more positive.

edit: F4 did look good and did I see a great hank too?

I do not think that there will be a stark tower this year, I think this will be a set but not until the avengers 2 is released. The most likely choice for the exclusive set is X-mansion. Personally I would love this to be made, imagine all the minifigures we would get in it, Storm, Wolverine, Beast, Cyclops, Iceman, Jean, Professor X, and even possibly Gambit ! Not to mention the building itself.

X-mansion would be great but how can they do it right for under £200 without it just being a front like Arkham Asylum, but if it did happen there could be a lot of really cool minifigures.

After seeing the designs in the video game I'm hoping when we get X-men sets they use those designs. Also the Green Goblin minifigure is great, I'm glad they went with classic Goblin over the crappy USM one.

Unfortunately they haven't really perfected the technique as the legs would have to be the color of the boots as they can't print on the one bottom portion of the leg nor the back. So on a figure like the Flash he would have bright yellow legs which would look terrible, especially from the back. I'm sure once they figure out a better solution we'll start seeing more boots printed on.

It could be good at that price but it is a mansion with a plane under it so one way or another something will have to give. The Blackbird might be a better option.

I would've thought the Arkham Asylum style would be perfect for the X-Mansion. It doesn't really need to be fully enclosed like the Haunted House set.

Never said it would be Avengers 3. Could be Avengers 7 or 26 since they want to do the MCU as a never ending franchise like James Bond. But 3 is most likely since Joss Whedon wants to leave Marvel at some point for some of his own projects again and trilogies are a very popular format. Of course there won´t be a real "final film". Just some kind of break or in the worst case a reboot and they only swap actors and directors.

Looking at Cyclops his visor is sticking out of his head. I hope that doesn´t mean we won´t get the X-Mansion or the S@H exclusive will be something different. But they only got to see winter wave sets, maybe it just means the Mansion will be released in summer coinciding with the movie.

Roughly 50 figs are confirmed right now and we will get in total 155 (minus customizable characters). I am pretty sure we will get all the A-List / known / popular characters and a handful obscure ones or jokes.

I hadn't seen that minifigure. I had heard they weren't able to print on the flat top part of the foot, which is why they had to make WW legs red, but seeing that I guess Lego finally was able to do it. So I guess there is no good excuse for Lego not having the boots. Now this makes me wonder why they were so lazy with the boot printing on SDCC Spider-man (The red legs don't look good and no printing on the sides). Now it just seems lazy that they didn't print on boots for the MOS stuff.

The new Bat torso reminds me of the Arkham Asylum version, so that is definitely a plus! Not sure I like the same colored hands, but that is a super easy fix.
