Omicron Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 (edited) They are over doing the Big Figs. The Hulk, Blog, and Juggernaut are all good. Colossus is wrong. I am not familiar enough with The Rhino to know. I doubt we will see all of them in plastic though. Rhino is pretty big to deserve a big fig rendition. As for Colossus, part of his powers is becoming larger than normal, and he is also a big guy too when not using his powers. Hence why he is a big fig. -Omi Edited July 25, 2013 by Omicron Quote
legoIgor123 Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I want to see a Cap. America fig with an actual helmet. Not just a normal head. I also really wanna a Red Snapper fig and a Striker fig from Ironman 3. Ironman VS Mandarin set is on its way! About time I actually bought this one. Should arrive tomorrow. Quote
Legoman123 Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I personally would love to see Amazing Spiderman 2 sets. Imagine the characters we would get out of it, first there is Electro which would just be awesome, then there would be Rhino but in a big fig form (and its always nice to get another big fig to add to the collection). Not to mention the other characters it would open Lego up to. Quote

Not to mention the other characters it would open Lego up to. I don't think Rhino in the movie is going to be like the Rhino from the comics. I thought I read somewhere the suit was going to be some sort of machine, but that could end up being brick-built and that would still be really cool! Also, did anybody else notice that in the LEGO big-fig trailer the Thing has a nose? I know they have done noses (rarely) in the past on figs, but Thing just seems like one of the worst characters to put a nose on. Hopefully the one on the cover is the one that we eventually get in a set (as well as in the game)! Edited July 25, 2013 by Spider-Man Quote
BrickG Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Electro in that movie form is not something I care for and if the Rhino rumors are true I don't give a crap about that either. Classic or nothing! :P Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Personally, I'm glad they'll change Rhino's design for the film cause his comic outfit is some of the goofiest and most ridiculous stuff I've ever seen (apologies to all Rhino fans) There are tons of laughable animal-based costumes in comics, but this one just takes the cake I really hope the rumors about ASM2 are true, that way we'd get more minifig representations of great actors (Jamie Foxx and Paul Giamatti in this case) Quote
Pulp Detective Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 I suppose rhino will use in the movie a mech suit instead his classic costume. Quote
Zzz Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Surprising that there's still no rumor of a new X-men set. I was hoping for CC to get some news or minifig images regarding those. It's some time ago that we got the one and only set and I seriously wonder, especially with the new Wolverine movie around, why they are so extremely careful in making another set. What is Lego waiting for? Quote

Spider-Man Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Has anybody attempted to recreate H.E.R.B.I.E. from the LEGO game demo? I've been looking at it and I think it can be done with existing parts if I'm not mistaken. Quote

So yes, it's possible. -Sci Quote

DJ Bricks Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Sorry if I missed this before but could you tell me what else was said about this set, or a website that has info on it ? At a comic thing,. Somebody asked the X-Men comic team panel if there would more LEGO X-Men sets (like they would actually know something like that). And they said yes, in September. I'm thinking they meant the LEGOized comic covers, and misunderstood the question. Though i do hope in October we get X-Men set(s), USM set(s), and some Thor:TDW sets. Quote

legoIgor123 Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 How about a Ghost Rider set, what do you guys think bout that? Quote
DJ Bricks Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 How about a Ghost Rider set, what do you guys think bout that? I would love a Ghost Rider set, but he's not kid friendly and i don't think so, unless a CUUSOO sets is accepted or it's a CC exclusive Quote
Omicron Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 I would love a Ghost Rider set, but he's not kid friendly and i don't think so, unless a CUUSOO sets is accepted or it's a CC exclusive When you really think about it, most of the comic heroes Lego has released aren't kid friendly. Lego made Man of Steel sets, and kids were crying at the end of the movie from all the violence and fighting when I saw it. -Omi Quote

Sam892 Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 I would love a Ghost Rider set, but he's not kid friendly and i don't think so, unless a CUUSOO sets is accepted or it's a CC exclusive I don't think LEGO would have a problem with the violence with the character, I mean Wolverine is extremely violent in both comics and film. I think it's more to do with the religious aspects of the character. Ghost Rider is usually connected to the Devil, due to this I could see LEGO stating away from him. Quote
just2good Posted July 26, 2013 Author Posted July 26, 2013 Deadpool, Zod, Punisher Howard Ect Punisher and Howard haven't been released but indeed Deadpool and Zod have. Zod was as a tie-in to Man of Steel, so that's really why they did it. Same with Deadpool/Wolverine- X-Men is one of the most popular Marvel comics. I just wouldn't seen Ghost Rider as not only is he not very popular with kids, but there really is no need to. Quote
BrickG Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 (edited) How would you do a ghost rider's flame head? New custom transparent part that simulates flames? Could be interesting at least. I'd love more X-Men. The (classic) X-Men are my favorite Marvel (used to be Spiderman but I'm kind of sick of them :P). Edited July 26, 2013 by BrickG Quote

Omicron Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Is this the one? I wish LEGO made trans-hairpieces like that! Yessir. I made one as well, but with just orange hair. But all in all, he can be made properly. :P -Omi Quote
