B-Lister Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I missed out on getting Catwoman the first time around, so I would most definitely welcome her into a new set for 2015. She seems popular enough that I don't think she'll be benched for long. The cycle chase is a great set, if you can track it down, though. Lots of useful parts, and two great minifigures. Yeah, one of them is Batman, but the glider cape is a neat piece. Quote
Robianco Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I managed to pick that set up for £4 as it was replaced on the shelves. I must admit my Christo Catwoman is a favourite of mine. Quote
Suspsy Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I'd certainly to see a purple Catwoman with an exposed hair headpiece like Batgirl's. Quote
Legofan1994 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 On the x men topic,Didn't you guys notice in the picture of the new x men set in new york fair said x men 1 ? Perhaps we might see a surprise for the x men very soon like another set or the cusoo mansion. Quote
Cammo Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I sure hope so. BTW what was that 'new' set that was supposed to be revealed on March 1st according to the LEGO calendar? (BTW new batman game announced with a cool looking batmobile. I sure hope Lego will make a set out of the game. Head over to the new topic I started to watch the game in action: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=93095) Quote

On the sponsor the characters are shown in pairs on the front half of the show it's Spider-Man, after the break it's Star-Lord. The sponsors can go from Wolverine/Captain America to Spider-Man/Star-Lord, if you can catch the shows in the UK you might catch them Quote
Dadster Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Really on the fence about the Spidey/ Luke Cage/ Ult Goblin set. Did a search for a review (neither here nor youtube), but didn't find one. If anyone has a link or has pros and cons for the set, please let me know. Thanks! Quote
Csacsa234 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 (edited) Here you are Dadster, this video sums up everything about the set IMO.and here is a detailed one from a fellow eurobricks member just2good Edited March 4, 2014 by Csacsa234 Quote

Freddy Bricker Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Agreed, as bad as I want MJ, she'll just have to skip my collection. I don't know why I'm so hesitant to buy loose figures off of BL though. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 ^To answer the above question, the LEGO Movie Sea Cow was the exclusive set revealed on March 1st. It was only available to VIPs before then. As far as Marvel 1, etc. listed in the book, I thought the rest were linked to the GotG. As in 3 GotG and 1 X-Men set and that was that for Marvel this year. Quote
Repeter Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 A loose MJ on Bricklink goes for under $10...the GG is around $20. I hate the GG, the Luke Cage is easy to make a purist custom of (so is MJ) and who the heck wants another Spidey, in the same ole costume? Bricklink is the way to go, for me. Quote
Legofan1994 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Oh so that explains it all TheLegoDr, thanks for clearing my doubt Quote
eldiano Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Dumb question so after the summer sets they are no more sets until "winter" which is on and about January of next year right? Quote
just2good Posted March 5, 2014 Author Posted March 5, 2014 Dumb question so after the summer sets they are no more sets until "winter" which is on and about January of next year right? Indeed, but we usually get them one or two months early. Quote
Moon_Knight Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I'd certainly to see a purple Catwoman with an exposed hair headpiece like Batgirl's. I'd prefer the Jim Lee Catwoman or the Catwoman from Arkham City. I'll take what I can get though, so long as another Michael Keaton Batman isn't included in the set... Quote
B-Lister Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 The Catwoman from the Cycle chase is intended to be an amalgamation of many of her looks, but it clearly takes a lot of visual cues from the Jim Lee design. Quote

I agree with ya there. I feel like it's definitely LEGO's interpretation of Jim Lee's Catwoman. Sort of. I would like to see a change for the headpiece though. I find the mask rather dull. I'd rather have a Catwoman with the goggles. Without the goggles, it doesn't look like Jim Lee's style to me. I wouldn't mind seeing a Anne Hathaway Catwoman minifig either. Quote
KCMatze Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) Catwoman variant would be awesome, I would like to see a Burtonesque Michell Pfeiffer one, though. If they'd only change the headpiece it would be too less for me ;) Edited March 5, 2014 by KCMatze Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I got my MM today and it's brilliant. Also did anyone else who spent over £50 to get him online get a Disney Princess polybag as well, or was that just me? Quote

Mostly I want another Catwoman to replace the one whose parts I've pimped out to my purist Wildcat and Maria Hill I like the mask a bit, but mostly for other characters, like Wildcat or Tomcat. I'm a little disappointed we didn't get a Nolan Catwoman, too. Maybe another, smaller Rises set with her on the Batpod with Batman fighting Bane or some of his guys. But that probably won't be happening ever, now. I'd like a more Arkham-esque headpiece, where it's a mixture of the traditional mask with a pilot's cap. Edited March 5, 2014 by Numbuh1Nerd Quote
