Look no further than Blue Beetle. Ten years ago, nobody knew who the Blue Beetle was. Now he's one of DC's most recognizable characters. He's even on the Warner Animation mural!

That's Jaime Reyes though, not Ted Kord.

Sad, but true for this DC fan. It broke my heart when Booster Gold tried to save Ted repeatedly before all that Infinite Crisis/52 bull$#!+ started.

I too enjoyed BtB to an extent. But I guess obscure characters are never such big draws. "There's a reason they're obscure, and its because they're uninteresting." I see that one a lot. It would apper that the general populace doesn't understand that a character can truly be interesting without being plastered over every advertisement.

I don't think they're uninteresting so much as they are under developed. I'd be far more interested in Professor Pyg and Mr. Toad if I had any idea what their deal was. So he's an animal rights activist gone crazy in a pig mask, but his sidekick is a mutant frog with Black Canary screams? A little more background would've done wonders, and I'm sure we would've gotten more if the show lasted longer than one season. I think Brave and the Bold handled the non-mainstream characters far better ("Ambush Bug? That's obscure even for this show!") I think they could've done far better with more time. It's odd though, I think the one thing that disappoints me more than the show getting cancelled is that they never really had any toys. The one thing you never have to worry about when making a Batman show is how you'll make the toys, and his gadgets from the show looked so cool that I was ready to buy them from the first episode. Alas, all we have his one action figure and a minifigure stuck into a set he didn't belong in. *sigh*

(seriously though, couldn't they have done a straight-up a tie-in and give us the Batmobile from the Riddler Chase with Pyg and Toad's car? Those guys would've been cool to get. Flash and Riddler could've gone to another set. I'd like to see a set with Flash and Superman in a race honestly)

I really want to see more of Booster Gold and Ted Kord together. I'd definitely watch a show that's just about those two. I'd especially love to see a set with those two together! My Justice League won't be complete without them.

That's Jaime Reyes though, not Ted Kord.

Still a valid point. Neither one has been that popular, but after Brave and the Bold (probably something before that, actually, but that was when I was introduced) he got more and more popular. Wasn't he going to have a live-action series of shorts on DC Nation?

Brave and the bold made him Recognizable, Young Justice made him a star.

For the record, I love all three Beetles, but Jaime is my favorite. Ted is a close second.

In the March magazine, theres a comic for marvel, and they show the A.I.M Lab. Also they show a A.I.M minifigure. I think we might see one soon. It looks really cool.

Could you please post a pic, I haven't gotten my March calender yet. I will advise you not to get your hopes too high up , since I had a similiar question last year when Jimmy Olsen appeared in a Man of Steel comic, and I was told that Lego has used minifigures that haven't appeared in real sets before in their comics. I sure do hope these minifigures are teasers of great things to come. Thank you for the information.

Speaking of which, does anyone have a scan of a page showing the minifigure or know where I could find one? I'd like to make a page on Brickimedia for Jimmy.

Calling it now, AIM Agent polybag released in the summer

Please let it happen!

Brave and the bold made him Recognizable, Young Justice made him a star.

And that's why I love the character. Plus BatB made a lot of characters recognizable. Too bad it's gone now. :cry_sad:

Thank you for editing your post with a picture 'amazingbricks' . That minifigure does look nice, though I doubt it can be used as a polybag since it appears to have a new mold. Maybe they can get away with using the Hazmat suit? Either way, this is speculation and I should probably stop before this post (and others) gets dubbed "off-topic"

But not forgotten! I loved that Kamandi made a cameo.

As for an AIM polybag, I'm all for it, so long as it's a) easily available and b) affordable.

I don't think it's fair to say that any Polybags are easily available nowadays. It's a matter of perspective that is varied among customers, where they live, and how generous the scalpers around them are feeling when they see the polybags. That said it has become increasingly harder for me to find polybags in my region.

Hmm, all the better reason to do battle packs. I would army build the crap out of AIM, SHIELD, and Hydra agents.

Over on the DC Side, Parademons, DEO operatives, League of Assassins, and Lexcorp soldiers.

Goons, Parademons, League of Shadows soldiers, LexCorp Guards, yep!

Also AIM Soldiers, Hydra goons, and SHIELD guys too!

Polybags are US exclusive except for the occasional magazine freebie in Sweden/Norway. I hope they do away with polys completely. Just makes the US market unbalanced, rips off the poor souls that feel the need to buy every set and apparently makes people think there is no need for BPs anymore when they would be far cheaper.

He looks identical to the game. Does that mean we get Psylocke, Black Bolt and Future Foundation Reed Richards, too?

If it makes you feel any better, even in the US it's not exactly easy to find polybags. I virtually never see them.
