Not sure if anyone remembers this or have seen it. But on LEGO.com there was a old poster board with different lego superheroes bios and Flash was one of them! Among the line up was green lantern! So maybe im just woring here but it's not to late to assume that green lantern is among the 2014 line-up. Just thinkin outloud it happened with flash maybe it will happen with GL

Well green lantern is now the only (well known) jusice league characther we havent got yet (in sets) so in my opinion it's natural he'll be in a future set, he doesent even need any new molds. I hope lego makes a green lotr-ring for him!

Wooo, another car chase! (will keep waiting for the Penguin duck...) Definitely one to buy for the minifigs. Ah, who am I kidding, definitely one to buy. It's a Batman set :D

My eyespheres are satisfied. The vehicles are the embodiment of mediocre, but the minifigures very much redeem this set. Obviously the biggest draw is Flash, I really like Lego's approach to him, and I seriously hope that the little lightning bolts on his helmet are removable. The Riddler looks quite appealing too, it'll be nice to get my paws on that green bowler + he appears to be sporting a very well detailed jumpsuit. Another possible bonus, if the set's Batman minifigure has the same Bat-logo printing as on the repellent Bat-vehicle, I'll be incredibly happy, as it's quite close to that of the 1940s version.

The only qualm I have over this set is the apparent lack of a Riddler staff. Ultimately, I shall be definitely getting a copy of this set. Thanks for sharing photos!

Remember guys this is probably not the only unveiling for 2014. the dc line usually consists of six sets same as marvel and dc don't have any big summer movies this year so all of the dc sets will most likely be in 2014 January. This is as they say only the tip of the iceberg. They hopefully will reveal something marvel and some figures for dc and marvel like last year I hope. Yes I remember they revealed the figures from 2014 then they revealed bugle and the dark knight rises set at the con. Hopefully something like that happens this year. Plus we are still missing two 2013 sets so there could be an exclusive2013 set for dc on the way and a set for marvel as we got a total of six sets for each line last year so we are missing one for each line perhaps......

Says the guy with a Dr. Osterman avatar (more of an anti-hero, but still).:laugh:

People are saying on the other topic that this set is based on Beware The Batman... I told y'all! Granted I wasn't the first to predict it, but this is a great sign. I'm still hoping for some Teen Titans Go! sets, but it kinda makes me wish they made some for Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice...

Its is loosely based thankfully no professor pyg..... I think it is just the design of the car and maybe batman. There doesn't appear to be any cw style eyes and facial features either!! TBH the beware the batman bat suit is really cool and sleek. I watched an episode yesterday and it was quite different but very modern and enjoyable. Wasn't too keen on the villains though. Hope they bring some regulars in at some point. Like joker and riddler a sign they will maybe..... Back on topic I will definitely get this set as I didn't get the riddler from the funhouse set and this has more cooler figures in it. it is clearly the beware version batman as you can see his belt and a black suit identical to this one: tumblr_m7mns6KNws1qeenqto1_500.png

I love the Flash, but am not entirely sold yet. I'll get it of course, but it's just not quite right to me. As others have said, the set itself isn't exactly the pinnacle of innovative set design, and to me, without his yellow speedster boots the figure just looks a bit...dare I say it...bland? A little too red.

Ho hum, I shall wait for better pictures to make a more informed judgement. ^^

I'm a sucker for all things Nygma so this is pretty much a shoe in, wish I could get a better look at what he's wearing though. Thought he was suited at first but as someone said on closer inspection it looks like a jumpsuit or something. Loving Flash though, the helmet is a great improvement on the video game version, and although the Batmobile isn't brilliant it looks like it could be made to look kinda cool with some modding.

I think (as usual) the level of cynicism is predictably high. Lego is pretty famous for making superhero sets involving two opposing vehicles. A good guy car Vs. a bad guy car is not out of left field. I think both rides feature some terrific SNOT work compared to some of the original Batman sets *and* you get a Flash..!

Judging by the price range and what happened in 2012 it is increasingly likely that Batman will dominate the dc line again this year with all 6 sets in January being devoted to our dear dark knight maybe with one normal dc set following the pattern last year. personally I think if they do a dc set non batman in a line where all other sets are batman it will either be another mos or an arrow based set. So I'd guess including the riddler chase, we can expect 4 other batman sets possibly starring other superheroes as helpers and perhaps batman's own helpers such as Nightwing, Alfred and batgirl will be present. This is the £29.99 one like with the batwing and joker's helicopter so we could still have on the way a £79.99 flagship set which is most likely batman again. A £39.99 batman set which could be like the funhouse in size unless they make it an mos set, a £20 dc set mos or arrow I'd predict unless the other one is one of those is the dc set. And a small £12 set which could very well be an arrow set so the rest of the line can focus on batman. Finally the £50 set like the bank robbery size. This I know will be quite disappointing for some of the people who wanted dc's Lego range to expand to cover other dc superheroes solo lines rather than just bats and supes if my predictions are correct that is. I would not be surprised if it went something like this: £79.99 Wayne manor set with a vehicle for which ever villain (hopefully al ghul). £50 set some situation of crime with bats and maybe another hero against either two villains and a henchman or a villain and two henchmen. £39.99 set like funhouse with batman and maybe some exclusives like batgirl and Nightwing and two exclusive villains and maybe a recycled one ala joker in funhouse. riddler batman chase thingy we've seen so that leaves two sets maybe one bats and one green arrow or mos. That is predictions based on what we know! I may be wrong but I could see this happening. On the bright side we could get a few missing bat-heroes and villains and some guest heroes maybe. Just a prediction we'll find out as the weeks pass.

I personally like the set as the design of the batmobile is cool and they've ditched the yellow and gone for gold on the symbols and wheels and batsy's belt. Riddler looks cool and his vehicle is perfectly wacky enough to think a guy like him would drive that around. The flash is awesome so glad we are getting him. Overall good for £30 as the last batmobile was in a £50 set! Hopefully flash's inclusion means that they will be including other superheroes in this wave to help bats on his missions and maybe Alfred and batgirl and Nightwing may make appearances along with some more of his rogue's gallery. I'm hoping so. Looking forward to tomorrow to see what they reveal figure and set wise.

Anyone notice the wider cockpit and windshield for the batmobile? Probs to accommodate his cape. Hopefully the batsymbol is printed on that piece. also noticed you can sort of see batman he is wearing a completely black suit with hints of dark grey armour? and the batsymbol is black and has no circle around it and looks similar to tdk one or the one on the windshield. In fact the suit seems similar to the comic con 2011 one but clearly isn't that one. I'd definitely say he is wearing the beware suit. or some variation of it. Another thought if they are doing sets loosely based off that show. Does that mean Alfred will have a bowler hat a suit and no bowtie or beard/moustache and look like a retired James bond? If so... awesome! This could mean Alfred is fighting in one of the sets with bats. Also the cowl on bats is the bigger one again probably cause the one he uses in the show is quite large.

lego freak, I think you're right that this whole January wave could be DC, with one non-Bats set. Wishful thinking, but I'm hoping the $/£20 set is from GL:TAS.

The riddler's and batman's car although they look good, are not that impressive. I will be getting this set soley to get my hands on the flash minifigure as I am sure everyone else is. The vehicles in the set will be just like an added bonus. I do hope that the batman and riddler minifiguers will be a little different from the ones that we already have. Given lego's recent sets like the batboat set and the nick furry set can this be a $20 value set?

Love the new Riddler and of course that Flash!

The vehicle designs are okay, considering the front engine dragster is 45 years retro. Maybe the Riddler is a throwback fig, too.

Flash? Riddler? Batman? Another Batmobile? Sold.

I'm a fan of everything here. Looking forward to this one. I may already have the first Batmobile, but I flippin' love that car, so I'll welcome another one into the collection.

Now why are quite a few people complaining about the dragster and the latest addition to the Bat's collection of vehicles......if you don't like it....pimp it or totally change them into other vehicles for the Riddler and Bat's to drive ?

Remember the target group for these are 10 to 12 year olds......not 20-30-40-something's......and yeah, 40-something's (I'm 45 next month).

I'd certainly be happy if when they show the figures off tomorrow as usual they show a green lantern as he is a crucial JL member even if he only guest stars in a set.

same bat's ride from 2012 is awesome, this looks like a nice design to add to the collection.

Can anyone (deskp) get a good enough zoomed in shot of Flash to take a good look at his head and mask combo? I can't make out if Flash has an all red head with just a face print on it, or if the mask is larger than I initially thought.

Edit: Never mind it is definitely a red head with a face printed on, like Stormtroopers.

Ye it's a red head. Personal I think it looks just right. The problem with the Game version of flash is that it looks like he's wearing a bucket on his head. This version really captures the roundness of the mask and the tight fitting form of it.

I think Green Lantern is probably a given at this point. I'd love to see a proper Arkham style set to co-cincide roughly with Arkham Origins.

Watchmen ain't happening, sorry.

I'm 45 in December, Lightningtiger, so you're not alone!

Could the back part of that Batmobile be a play feature that's raised up to shoot flick fires? Perhaps in normal mode that hinges down flat.
