lightningtiger Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) Spider-Ham......oh, dear............. Is this where they got the idea from ? Edited June 21, 2014 by lightningtiger Quote
DJ Bricks Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 No Spider-Ham has been arou.d for decades hes is not new, nor inspired by the Simpsons. He actually predates the movie. It was an alternate reality where every character is turned into some type of animal based on their name. I would lovd a Spider-Ham fig, just because. And the CMF Piggy Guy will probably have a mask like the panda and other animal costume guys. Quote
TheLegoDr Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 This explains it a little bit. I have never heard of it before. Quote
Robianco Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 To be completely honest... This doesn't seem close to the kind of angle Lego would take with any of their lines... Least of all SH. I think any humour or novelty value associated with it is insignificant to the marketing driven approach all the other sets we get have. I really just felt the need to say that based on the fact Hammy is still being discussed on a rumours thread. Oh God I certainly hope so anyway... Quote
Lego Spy Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 This explains it a little bit. I have never heard of it before. Well that certainly is... odd. Quote
Mr. Elijah Timms Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 He also had his own title in Marvel's 80's kids-targeted comic line STAR COMICS. Wake me when there's real Superhero news (YAWN) Quote
Colossus Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Geez, the more I read about Spider-Ham, the more I want a Spider-Ham Minifigure. Also, I can't believe I forgot about Goose Rider! I bet that if USM did an episode based entirely on Spider-Ham's universe, a corresponding Lego set would make a killing with kids. Since being reminded or them, I've dug up my old issues of Spider-Ham, et all., and my kids love 'em. Quote
Numbuh1Nerd Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I think it wouldn't be too unbelievable that Lego would put Spider-Ham in a set along with Peter Parker's Spider-Man, or just simply some other villain. Quote
Tom Jurassic Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I'm glad to hear we are getting Avengers: Age of Ultron sets. I would agree with comments; a D2C Avengers Tower could be likely, especially as it holds more significance in both Cinematic and Comic Universes then it's prior iteration, the Stark tower. I reckon we may see SHIELD Return within this film; those of you up to date with Agents of SHIELD will understand where I've got this from. I'd also say a new Quinjet is likely, if it is a new design. In the description, it says "It has seats for all the Avengers". Will this be the case with LEGO's model? I am intrigued to see what San-Diego Comic Con will reveal. Quote
Steph 104th Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 the pilot for the Flash series it will be shown at Comic Con. I know we have to wait for a while for the Batman exclusive. Maybe the exclusive is a Lego Batman 3 based batwing with the space suit Batman. It would be great to see him as a actual materialised minifigure Quote
legofreak86 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 It could be the batrocket from the game which the top detaches into the batwing. Maybe it would be Space Batman, Space robin, Green lantern and maybe a member of the game LOD as they are present in the level involving the rocket. Quote

Dharkan Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 TV Flash will look real good on LEGO form btw. Dark Red Suit. I want to see LEGO Batman Beyond Gotham minifig too. You heard it first from me :P we'll get a Space Robin. Quote

Marvelfan120 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 (edited) I hope that on this usm wave we got white tiger, iron spider and Lizard or Rhino big fig what about you? maybe harry or coulson also We just have to get White Tiger, Iron Spider and Lizard would be great. If we get Coulson I'll be very happy. Wouldn't mind Rhino or Harry either but they aren't musts. we definitely a new Spidy variant, I have so many of the old Spidy I could hand him out for Halloween. wesker Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 I just hope we get some new villains next year. A classic Green Goblin would be nice to get eventually but I wouldn't mind seeing some new characters that haven't been done before first before more repeats of him, Doc Ock and Venom. I also hope we get another non-costumed supporting character along the lines of Jameson and Mary Jane. We still haven't gotten Gwen Stacy yet while Norman, Harry, Aunt May and Peter Parker could all use updates from the original Spider-Man line. Quote
Pulp Detective Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 It would be awesome if we (ever) get a Carnage minifig, btw was he on the Marvel video game?? Quote
Dharkan Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 I believe he was though I don't remember unlocking him in game. Quote
The Joker1 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 It would be awesome if we (ever) get a Carnage minifig, btw was he on the Marvel video game?? Yup he was, He did exactly the same as venom (except turn into a big fig), And i agree he would be an AWESOME figure!!! Quote
legofreak86 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 (edited) I hope to see in the next spider man sets and I think this is possible: Gwen Stacy as she appears in the Lego marvel videogame Classic Green Goblin, Peter Parker (videogame), Coulson (maybe shield vest), White Tiger, Rhino (mech or big fig), Sandman, Lizard (big figure?) Borex Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 A lizard bigfig doesn't make sense at all. Just like Colossus shouldn't be a bigfig, and Venom either. Don't know why they were bigfigs in the game. A bigfig Kingpin, Juggernaut or Rhino? Now, that i'll understand (and applaud to). Quote

A bigfig Kingpin, Juggernaut or Rhino? Now, that i'll understand (and applaud to). They were big figs purely to give the player more variety when choosing a big fig. I do agree however Colossus, The Lizard and The Thing need to be similar to Dog pound from TMNT, slightly bigger than a normal figure. Venom is a difficult one as in the normal 616 universe he's normal size, but in the ultimate comics he's huge. Quote

Don't know why they were bigfigs in the game. A bigfig Kingpin, Juggernaut or Rhino? Now, that i'll understand (and applaud to). I 100% agree with you. Unlike in the game, I feel big figures should be used only for the characters who truly need them (I'm sure the game only made many characters into big figs when it wasn't necessary just to add variety). If anything I think more semi-large figures, like those seen on the TNMT figures Leatherhead and Dogpound--should be used instead. I think they're the perfect size for many of the larger superhero characters. Although honestly I don't understand the mass desire to have more bigfigs anyways. I have both Hulk versions, and even though they're cool looking, I like the other standard minifigure sized characters far more. Big figs are too huge, and have practically no range of motion. Hulk is the most boring figure to me since he can't "do" anything other than lift his arms. I don't know why it'd be great to get a figure like that all the time. Quote

And unlike most I like the colossus bigfig because he is able to go toe to toe with hulk, thing or jugganaught. Although he might not actually be that size in most comics, I like the idea of there being a bigfig in the X-Men main team. Although I dislike their lack of playability and customisation, the look really cool! I liked the lizard bigfig and all of the ones in the game but wish they were a bit more playable! My love for bigfigs has found me buying decool (spawn of satan) bootleg Red Hulk and Thing. The red hulk is okay but is just a recolour and would be better with a different print and hair. The thing rocks (pun intended) and will look great next to my fantastic four! Quote
montgocloud Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 This Ultimate Spider-Man news is fantastic! Alternate Spider-Men and Agent Venom would be great additions to the LEGO Marvel universe. Let's hope that some of this actually comes to fruition next year. Quote
