A lizard bigfig doesn't make sense at all. Just like Colossus shouldn't be a bigfig, and Venom either. Don't know why they were bigfigs in the game.

A bigfig Kingpin, Juggernaut or Rhino? Now, that i'll understand (and applaud to).

Colossus is 7ft 5 in steel form which is taller than Rhino and Savage Hulk.

True, but Colossus isn't as wide, at least the original I'm familiar with. A mini big fig would better, or a different body shape at least.

I would love more Hagrid sized figures. I think that would work great for Juggernaut and the like. Big Figs have their place, but so do the inbetween. Granted they still lack poseability.

Taller, wider...whatever! I loves me some bigfigs; and having the likes of Colossus, Blob, The Thing as such would be just dandy. I think they look great in the game, and I'd enjoy having them in my collection sooner than later.

Please!

Unless we're talking about the original comic book version, the Lizard is usually depicted as being at least twice the size of spider-man. Definitely big fig material although a minifig sized version wouldn't bother me. I don't think Colossus really needed one since he's not as wide or bulky as characters like Juggernaut and I hope that if we ever get him, he's either regular sized or medium. He looked ridiculous in the game.

Venom is a big fig because of his Ultimate version, Lizard is without a doubt a big fig, and Colossus could honestly be fine either way. It probably would be best if they just brought out the old Woody legs and gave him that football pad armor piece to bulk him up just a little, but I think a Big Fig wouldn't be too bad an idea. The X-Men should have at least one big fig member to face off against Juggernaut. I think the real reason why Colossus was a big fig in the first place was so he could pull off his special move with Wolverine.

What do you think the odds are of us getting Justice League members in next year's DC sets are?

Maybe one of them. Green Lantern has to be in next years wave

Posted

We had two new this year with The Flash and Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern is still a rumour, but I suppose they cannot get around him. Maybe they will spare some off for the Justice League movie, so would not put hopes up too high on more figures!

I'll be surprised if we don't see Green Lantern in a set next year. We know he's getting a LED light figure in the near future and the design is identical to the one in the new video game. To my knowledge Lego has never released a LED light/magnet/keyring figure of a character who wasn't also available as a standard minifigure. He was also originally rumoured to show up in a set this year, and its not unlikely for Lego to have held off on releasing this set to make up for the lack of Batman vs Superman next year.

I actually think we will be getting most of the Justice League next year: Yeah, Batman and Green Lantern, but also Cyborg, Superman, Wonder Woman, and even Martian Manhunter. They all have redesigns for LEGO Batman 3, even though it looks like Robin is staying the same as in the previous game. If Martian Manhunter wasn't in his classic costume (but with pants instead of shorts) I could see an argument for DC just wanting to push the New 52 designs in the video game, but it seems (or seams? ) that isn't the case, at least not entirely when J'onn has a New 52 design in the plastic they could have used already, like they did with Flash. :classic:

I guess we will have the green lantern and maybe a plastic man exclusive.

I doubt it they will be SDCC exclusives but as a store exclusive. I've said it before, but LEGO most likely delayed the GL set until next year, due to the Batman v Superman being delayed. It takes around 18 months to get a LEGO set from concept to stores, and since LEGO have had to create a new wave in about 11 months I'd say LEGO delayed it for next year.

All about bricks were correct about all the other rumours, so I can't see them getting the GL set wrong. It makes sense.

Plus the printing on plastic man isn't really LEGOs style, you can tell that's not a real Minifigure just by looking at it.

If LEGO were going to do exclusives again ( which I doubt after the big rigging scandle last year) they would go with figures that won't cost much to produce. Maybe Black Adam or captain boomerang, I can see them going for villains since last year they were all heroes.

If we get more exclusives, these will be two people I'll be satisfied with. Shazam! is already out of reach from me, and Captain Boomerang is one villain in the DC Universe (A universe with beings from the 5th dimension, and killer moths) that I can't take seriously.

We have a few years to get Shazam! in a set. It is a shame though, I'd love having him as a fig.

Come on Lego, we need more Comic Only sets and minifigures. And frankly, that is probably the only way we get some new minifigs from DC, since they don't really like making movies for their less popular characters.

Ah, I've forgotten about that news. I guess I don't like the Black Adam exclusive idea anymore....

You'd still get a movie Black Adam in a set, as he's being played by the Rock in the movie.

Don't mean to be that person but Dwayne Johnson hasn't been confirmed to be Black Adam yet. Just a rumor.
