TheLegoExperience Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 A bat shuttle. That is a little bit more spaceish right? I mean Scarecrow has nothing to do with space. Quote
Kire Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Everybody is wanting a possible GL set, but I'm still wanting Killer Croc and Alfred to be remade. Quote
Ezekiel2517 Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 That is a little bit more spaceish right? I mean Scarecrow has nothing to do with space. Yeah well it could be somehow tied to the game, you know in space. GL in space. Quote
just2good Posted July 20, 2014 Author Posted July 20, 2014 (edited) http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/movies/2014/07/20/lego-dark-knight-tumbler-toy-exclusive/12909645/ Why so serious? Because Batman's most intimidating Batmobile ever is getting the LEGO treatment.A LEGO Tumbler, the Caped Crusader's black armored vehicle of choice in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight movie trilogy, will be on display at Comic-Con this week beginning Wednesday. Following the pop-culture convention, which runs through July 27, the Tumbler toy (1,869 pieces, $199) goes on sale at LEGO stores and shop.LEGO.com in September. Measuring 15 inches tall and 9 inches wide, the LEGO Tumbler has an armored exterior, adjustable wings, a detailed interior (with a console screen that reads "INTIMIDATE") and oversized rubber-tread tires. It also comes with a fact sheet about the vehicle from the movies. If you're into character mini-figures, the stars of the set are a Christian Bale-styled Batman and the Joker, the first time Heath Ledger's The Dark Knight take on the villain has appeared in LEGO form. Tom Jurassic Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 OMG, Heath Ledger Joker! I may buy that, just for 1 Minifig!!!!!! Quote
clra2 Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 (edited) i was skeptical about the UCS tumbler but those figs... would be cool if Joker came with a 1x2 printed tile of his joker card. Edited July 20, 2014 by clra2 Quote

Churchill Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Oh yeah, I'm good with this. I love the new utility belt on Batman. Quote
TheBuoyWonder Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 I may be wrong, but does batman have a new face print? Quote
Kire Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Jesus look at the detail on the Joker, they even to made it wear his face isn't all white but it ends with a fleshtone skin!! No leg printing on the batman is disappointing, but this set is a must have! Quote
K-Nut Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 (edited) The Joker fig looks great! The Tumbler looks like an amazing collector's piece too, and the size is great. The Bale Batman fig looks nice too, and the new expression is great. However, it's way too pricey for me, though it looks like a good price/piece ratio. I'd say I'd just pick up the figs on BL, but they're gonna end up being super expensive. Edited July 20, 2014 by K-Nut Quote
Moon_Knight Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 That looks amazing! Heath Ledger Joker is a minifig!!!!!!!! Quote
Kire Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Does it have the batpod though...I'm curious to know if it does. Quote

K-Nut Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Sadly I don't think it does. But on the other hand that would boost the price so... Not necessarily. It would just end up bring part of the Tumbler for not that many more parts, especially since the entire interior is detailed. With as many parts as there are it could very well be in there, though I don't really see where it could plug in. Quote

I don't expect the batpod to be exactly as detachable as it was in the movie, just when building the set there is a small set of instructions whether to build the tumbler or the batpod. Quote
Kez Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Holy mega blocks, that tumbler is awesome, as are the figures, this is a first day buy!! Quote
TheBuoyWonder Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Should we expect a designer video for this? Quote
