The simpsons was practically handed to LEGO by the animation studio of Fox, X-Men wouldn't fall under that. I bet it will be comic sets released around the same time as the movie.

I have no background in legal stuff, but maybe LEGO did a trade off. They made the Simpsons CMFs in place of also getting the license for X-Men stuff?

Interesting, but I don't really have much to say without pictures or what characters we'll be getting. The wording of the Spider-Man blurb seems to confirm Power Man and/or White Tiger, at least.

Cool, we're getting some GOTG and X-Men sets. I like it, but I was really hoping for F4 sets. But, more X-Men, YAY!!

I think the whole Simpson/ Family Guy thing was just Fox animantion studio trying to find promotional things for themselves and handed them to Lego and K'Nex. I don't think it would include X-Men. Plus the movie version would be terrible, everybody is wearing black armour or cilvilian clothes. I would rather have comic versions.

The first time we saw him in a trailer he had molded visors and new hair, now hes got a printed vison and old hair, wich could eman they are now using the design that a real fgure is already using?

I really hope the Avengers sets include Thor 2! I bet the junior ones are similar to the beginner Star Wars sets. I'd get the one with Venom GoH, if nothing else. Eagerly awaiting pics!

Woah, good thinking! It may as well be one of those- a "recruitment" Super Heroes set! It's gonna be weird as there's two figures, and it's gonna be awfully similar to the $20 set. Then again, I don't see how they'll make one for the Batcave...

I think the way described that lego juniors minifigs will be the same as the lego4juniors ones from years ago - oversized half way between a minifig and technic guy like the old Spider-Man ones they had and jack stone and pirates!

I second this. The one from the videogame looks awesome.

Hopefully the X-Men sets will be based off the comics despite being released to coincide with DOTP. As much as I like the films I find the character designs to be really boring and uninspired.

What other heroes are there in ASM2 or even rumored besides Spidey though? The only other "heroes" I can think of would be civilians, and I don't see why they would be counted.

By saying Avengers, I'm guessing they mean the Franchise (MCU). Plus they could easily have looked like Avenger sets as both movies together have, Captain America, Thor, Loki, Nick Fury, Maria Hill and Black widow.

Also everyone told you so about Guardians of the Galaxy.

I think the spiderman villains will be based on the spiderman 2 movie. Electro and rhino. Norman osborn will make an appearance in the movie too. Whether he will be come the green goblin or not in the movie I think we will get a goblin minifigure.

Maybe DC will get a Summer wave too? Even if not, I'm kind of glad to see that it isn't holding Marvel back any more. Hopefully it will just help this theme grow as a whole.

Depending on how well versed the guy or his informant is the sets could very well be Avengers Assemble based. But it seems odd that they would do sets only based on ASM and the cartoons and ignoring Cap 2 and Thor 2. Those films are getting a bit darker but they aren´t much more unfitting than Iron Man 3. Adding the utter lack of a second DC wave / having a ratio of 4 DC sets to at least 9 Marvel sets I certainly call doubt on the truth of this site or at least the authors/informants ability to comprehend toy catalogues.

2. Is there really only one character pack? LEGO Batman 2 had two and seeing how ever more games get DLC I really expect them to use DLCs to push that character list to 200.

Hopefully the Spidey sets are based off of ASM 2, but I still remain a little skeptical just based off of the wording in the release.

Also GotG is absolutely fantastic news! I can't wait until we get screen shots from the game so we can see what figures we will most likely be getting

I think he's referring to how some claimed that the game designer was talking about USM Goblin being in a game DLC and not an actual, physical set.

I believe Lego will probably make some announcement on the Spidey sets first, I think I spotted a comment about the Avengers Assemble T.V series, and I just want to say that the probability of getting sets for that is unlikely.
