just2good Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 And prices in Polish currency if you like to compare with other Superheroes sets in Polish S@H. 76018 - 270 zl (same price as 6868 in Polish S@H, and probably similar piece count) 76016 - 200 zl 76017 - 100 zl 76015 - 100 zl 76014 - 70 zl 76013 - 270 zl 76012 - 150 zl 76011 - 100 zl 76010 - 70 zl Thanks, seems like a lot of the Marvel sets are cheap. kermit Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Most of the previous marvel sets were reasonably priced. At least this is a good sign for my wallet. Quote
RelicRaider Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 It's good that they have a reasonable price range, so it appeals to lots of people's price ranges. I don't think I'll be getting the more expensive sets, I think one of the cheaper DC sets will work for me. Thanks for posting the prices, even if they are in Polish. :) Quote
Legoman123 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I think that there may be one or two retail exclusives for DC this Winter wave. Fingers crossed for them. It could also be a chance to get the Green Lantern as well. Quote
legofreak86 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 (edited) So here are my thoughts expanded 76018- Avengers Assemble set, Falcon ( hopefully with separate molded so he's not is flight mode all the time), the Hulk( he will have a diffrent face print), Thor (with Helmet) Red Skull or Malekith (the hood could be a stand in for Malekith's hair) and MODOK ( no doubt about him, he's the only charcter with a large head) 76017- TWS Set TWS Cap on a bike, second character could be TWS Black Widow or Crossbones, and Winter Soldier, his costume is green in the movie. 76016- USM set 1 Goblin with the Goblin Glider, which i'm sure they''s give him and maybe other vehicle is a shield jet from the show. so Spidey, maybe Agent Coulson and Goblin. 76015- Ock could be season two, this could be the season 2 opener with Ock Spidey and Lizard or Power Man or White Tiger 76014- Sounds like Spidey vs Electro ( he's the only one how has yellow and green, also the vidoe game Electro has no boot/ leg printing) As for the cap set I think you are right as in the filming it shows winter soldier attacking a large green jeep (which was mentioned) wearing a dark green uniform. Also in the filming black widow and Steve Rogers in casual clothes with shield are present. The scene described as a destructive highway battle. they may be combining the motorbike from the filming of another scene or even this scene with this scene and adding cap in his winter soldier gear. The motorbike in the filming was dark green as described in the descriptions given by Kris kelvin. : http://www.movieweb....ter-soldier-set. I'm hoping the avengers set includes Red Skull as I fear it will be our only chance to get him. Sounds promising though red skull and modok? That's two villains from marvel to add to our rogue's galleries. I do Hope Coulson shows up in a USM set like the one from the videogame. Yes a shield jet would surely mean Coulson as there are no well known shield agents other than Coulson and fury in the show. Nice to hear GG is getting a glider set. I actually quite liked the design of GG from USM. I don't think green and yellow person is electro as in the show he is glowing blue and doesn't wear a yellow and green suit. I think a stand in for or just colours look different sandman is far more likely. Edited October 9, 2013 by legofreak86 Quote
Moon_Knight Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 There is a good chance that Modok is in CA: TWS considering that he was in CA: TFA so there is still a chance of movie sets Quote

And besides, I don´t think Thor and Hulk are getting a fight scene in Captain America 2. Price List in Euro for those who don´t want to do math. 15 - Elektro 20/27 - Doc Ock 20/27 - Captain America 45 - Spider-copter 60 - Hulk and Thor v.s. Modok 15 - Penguin 20/27 - Man-Bat / Sharks 35 - Flash and Batmobile 60 - Steamroller Sounds fair for now but depends on the final designs. Quote

Ok that's true, but his primary look in the series is the blue glowing no outfit look. That original look was limited to that episode. Plus the videogame version has no boots whereas the TV show one does. I think with pure yellow legs (mistaken for yellow but really a paler colour) it is more likely to be sandman. That's a hope really as sandman is quite a good and usable spider man villain. I'm not that familiar with electro outside of the 1995 animated television series but from what I've heard he is quite iconic. As the person clearly specified yellow legs I think it is most likely sandman with sand legs. I could be wrong however. Quote

Maybe it is Sandman, but Electro would be more likley, maybe they found his blue form boring, or only hand art for his green and yellow suit, and he's a villian for the upcoming ASM2. Quote

I think Electro will be in the 15€ set with the same design as in the LEGO game. His design is much less detailed with a fully green body, only torso printing. Electros regular costume always involves yellow boots and undies and if he were a game-only character he would get much more detailed legs like for example Curt Connors who has his legs black, purple and white all round while LEGO normally only prints the front part of the legs with Wonder Woman being the sole exception right now. It also seems like they are going to push Electro because of the ASM2 movie. The game apparently also has an alternate costume for Electro which I guess is based on the blue version. I think they are going to make a blue Electro available sometime later this year (Merchandise in time for the DVD release seems to get more common, even outside of the TDKR set). Also Sandman would be pretty boring on his own, he would need to be in a set with some more additional tan parts, have his own little scenery. Just throwing a dude with tan pants and a striped shirt in with Spider-Man and his tricycle sounds and looks like a joke and not something to really play with. Quote
Borex Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Nice to hear that there will be a lot of Marvel sets. Since the upcoming Star Wars wave isn't really interesting to me, i can catch up with some superheroes! Because of the Lego Marvel Superhero game, i think most of the new minifigs will pretty much look like the game-versions: http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/LEGO_Marvel_Super_Heroes I'm mostly an eighties/nineties marvel comic book fan (though i like the movies too), and thus not really familiar with the cartoons. Spidey is still my favorite, so i'm glad we're getting some new sets with him. Fingers crossed for a decent Electro, and a 'classic' green goblin. I don't know what/who the ultimate spider-man green goblin is, but i that would be a huge disappointment to me, if we're getting him. And i think i will start to collect the Avengers too. I didn't like the Avengers sets last year (i need a classic hawkeye) so i hope thor has its headgear, and Modok is cool. Yeah, i cant wait for the images Quote

RelicRaider Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I really wish LEGO redesigns Captain America's mask to be like Flash's. I like Cap's mask the way it is, and I think flash's should be like Cap's, because I can't help but feel it is a bit too bulky. Quote
Borex Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 By the way, if there's gonna be 3 different spidey-sets i hope they will have some different suits for him as well. Quote
BrickG Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 If there's no different suits it'll suck. I really really wish they'd start giving some more variance in the Batman and Spiderman suits. I mean the action figure lines have crazy alternative suits. We need more of that :p. It would give me reason to buy all these sets. Quote

KingPixels Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I think it depends how tight his helmet is in the movie. If it's like the First Avenger helmet it should be like Flash's. If it's more like the Avengers helmet it should stay the same. Quote

Should be a mask piece in every single costume variation. Especially as long as LEGO can´t even make Caps face look like regular flesh colored instead of this weird tan. Quote
SMC Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I didn't see anyone talk about this but fbtb has a picture of a big fig version of Venom in the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game. It looks really cool would love to see it as a real big fig but then again they do add a lot to the cost of a set Quote
Spider-Man Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I wonder how preliminary the pictures of the sets were? Could it be possible that Hulk was included as a stand in for the Thing? Quote
