The junior sets really do look good, great figs in the batman one, once again Spiderman is lacking from being the same every time, he doesn't get the love batman seems to get. That will mean that I will have the get the one set where he is new no matter what.

New Sets:

76010 Meeting the Penguin, small set with The Penguin, Batman in dark blue, comes with a mini-bat-sub, a yellow duck (Penguin riding on it), two mini-penguins with dynamite, 14,99 EUR

76011 Attack of Man-Bat: Comes with Man-Bat flying a "vehicle" on his back, and black Batman with a helicopter, 24,99 EUR

76012 Chase of The Riddler, somes with The Flash, The Riddler and Batman (we all know this set), 34,99 EUR

76013 Jokers Steam-Roller, ugly Steam-Roller (don't know the series) with Joker with dark pink hat, a clown driving this vehicle, Robin, Batgirl, Batman dflying a plane (or something like a plane), 59,99 EUR!!

76014 Spider-Trike vs. Elektro, nothing to say here, not finished in the picture, minifigs Spiderman and Electro, 14,99 EUR

76015 Doc Ock: Attack of the Truck (seems to be a bank-truck), comes with Spiderman, Doc Ock and a driver, 24,99 EUR

76016 Rescue of the Spider-Heli: Avatar-like Helicopter in red/ blue/ dark grey, comes with Hulk?? (or another maxifig), a woman (whats the name of Spidermans love?) and Spiderman, 49,99 EUR.

Very interesting. It looks like we're getting a new Spider-man variation in the Doc-Ock set (I'm assuming blank torso's indicate new printing as these prelims seem to be utilizing only existing printed elements). Also the blue is darker on Spider-man, hoping it looks like the Comic-con one. Also it seems as if we're getting Mary-Jane.

I'm definitely excited we're seeing two variations of Robin. I've been trying to hunt down a classic Robin for a while and this seems to fill my need. Also has anyone noticed how similar the cockpit is on both the Batcopter and Batwing? It literally looks like they just took the rotor off and added wings to make the Batwing. Despite that this is probably my favorite line up of vehicles in a while. Even the lesser vehicles are at least made up of useful and interesting parts.

Wow! I hope these are legit!

A few observations:

- Doc Ock is the the classic version, though still using the same claws as before.

- Spidey has a red torso in the Doc Ock set but not in the Electro. Possibly just because it's a prototype, but interesting nonetheless.

- It appears to be Mary Jane and Power Man in the copter set!

- Nothing new in the Juniors set for Marvel fans unfortunately.

- Just a henchman in the Doc Ock set, not Coulson. I can't read the label there, does anyone have any ideas?

- Goblin's glider actually looks like a nice design. Doc Ock truck is boring though, same with both Spider-mobiles.

- Electro set looks like it comes with lots of electric rod pieces.

Overall pretty exciting although nothing too groundbreaking. Can't wait for the Avengers sets to leak.

The fact the Spiderman in the doc ock set is dark blue may suggest a new variant as the other set's spider men are Bright blue. Maybe the one in the doc ock set is an ASM variant? happy to see doc ock is not the USM variant, hopefully he will be a comics variant when finished. I'm glad to see the spider copter has power man and gobby's glider as well. the batman sets look cool. I'm intrigued to see robin return in green red and yellow in the steamroller set plus batgirl. Nice to see Nightwing and a possible new black batman variant against man bat in the helicopter set. Overall I like this wave now that I've actually seen it!

Black and gold batman!!!! Awesome!!!!! Looking good those. Hope we see some leaked marvel figures soon. I reckon maybe for this wave they are paying tribute by having the black and gold design return with the new face plus the gold design fits in with batgirl's you can't have a gold and black batgirl next to a black and yellow batman it would just look odd! I like juniors batman and robin so I may end up getting that for those two. Edited by legofreak86

Interesting. That's the exact same bats from the 2005 LEGO Batman series. I hope it's a different Batman in all honesty. He's way too similar to last year's black Batman.

Yeah, definately picking up the Penguin set for sure. And ugh, I hate Damien Wayne so if that's him in the steamroller set then I probably won't be getting it (I probably won't get it even if it isn't him) That said, The penguin set is the only one of this wave I'm interested in, so I won't be getting the other sets anyway. I'm gonna save my money for the X Men line later in the year.

So, by February, my BatCave will have 2 Batmobiles, 2 BatCycles, a Redbird Cycle, a BatBoat, a BatSki, a BatSubmersible, 2 BatWings, a BatCopter, and a Bat.

Bruce Wayne has gotta find better ways to spend all that money. Maybe he should become an AFOL?!! ;)

Well, he does like his toys !

Interesting to note that only Batman and Spiderman sets are featured....no other Marvel.....that would point towards second half releases or the usual May sets for Disney ?

These are just like 'rough visualisations' of the descriptions we already got- sorta like the pictures in my head. I'll wait for Grogall till I make any impressions.

Agree! Even if the pictures are real prototype, I have to say they are not too meaningful.

It was said all the marvel ones confirmed (Spiderman and avengers) would be in march. I reckon as Xmen DOFP is released end of may in the UK that we will see the Xmen wave in may. This is how I predict it going: Dc January, marvel avengers and Spiderman sets in march. xmen in may-June then guardians of the galaxy in July-august.

Seeing the new pictures, I love the Junior Batman set!

It's so perfect, and the colors really stand out as almost 60's TV Batman. Totally going to be buying that one! And did anyone else notice what seems to be a short yellow cape on that Robin?! In fact we seem to be getting a few yellow capes this wave, which is great since the last time we got some was what, like 2007 or something?

Not too much of a fan of the character distrabution though. The DC line is way too heavy on the Batmen and Robins, and I feel the Steamroller set is screaming for another named villain rather then a henchman or Damian Wayne (Who I think is far down on the listed of "wanted" characters by most people). On the flipside for the most part, I feel the Marvel distrabution is great, aside from the Spidermen of course. Two new villains, an updated Ock, new hero and MJ, as well as a few cool vehicles.

Personally, I love the Ock truck--I love the scale and look of the majority of the Heroes vehicles actually. Electro's "hover-whatever" looks dumb, but it'll be nice to have so much lighting parts, though I hope they'd come in trans yellow rather then blue. However, I will say in closing that all the Spiderman vehicles are ridiculous and just terrible.

Do we know the price of the junior sets, I thought the batman one was meant to be £40 but dont know where I got that from but it looks like a £20-£30 set

Based on the Euro prices and box estimations, the Spidey set is $10 and the Batcave is $30. :classic:

Batgirl comes with the steam roller? And more goons? Curse you Lego, knowing what I want to see in a Lego set! Same thing with Penguin in his Duck-thing from Batman Returns!

For me, DC wins this round with better build concepts and minifigure choices. I'm hoping this means a stronger second half for Marvel in 2014...

Could the stand in ock actually be a prototype for this? http://www.fbtb.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Mighty-Avengers-1-LEGO-Variant.jpg It is an all green costume so would be fairly easy for Lego to print and would look a lot better than the USM variation. Even in the prelim for the original USm set ock was grey with black long hair so clearly they had the design they could've used as a stand in. The game design would be ideal with the torso and printed legs of the lab coat and the metal harness visible on the torso. I've always wanted the 2004 ock but eBay for him is sooo expensive I've never committed and bit the bullet on it. Hopefully this means I won't have to!

I'm really happy with these new sets, even the juniors appeal to me, best start saving up :classic: (btw thanks for the cgi image link, it surprised me how clear these pictures are compared to previous preliminary pictures)

It's funny but I'm also really digging the Juniors Batman set. That Batman and Robin are just what I need for my Super Friends. I only wish it was a villain I didn't already have (and one I wasn't already getting another version of this year in the Steamroller). That is one of the cutest little Batmobiles ever, also.

The Doc Ock set looks promising and I hope it's a more classic Ock as well, even though I did buy the old Ock a while back. The only other Spiderman set I'll probably consider is the cheapest one and that depends on how good the Electro is since he'll be the reason I'd get it.

Oh and just a reminder, please do not embed (we call it deeplinking sometimes) the confidential pictures here. Links to the pictures off site are permissible but the pictures themselves should not be posted directly.
