Maybe the Marvel Sets are based on Thor: TDW and that's why a set isn't being shown, but maybe the wave contains Ultimate Spidey or X-Men sets(s) and they couldn't shown those because why? Hopefully they will at least show some Marvel figure, maybe a set that isn't on the timeline.

That's what I'm thinking- the only sets for the rest of this year (maybe) and next are new movie-based sets. However, I know they didn't do this last year, but they did this in 2011 where they showed the movie-based figures from The Avengers. I would love to see an updated suit Thor and Captain America. Doubt they'd have GotG sets.

Now, if they are going to have a D2C X-Men set, it would be perfect to show it here, or at least the figures (they showed the Arkham figures at SDCC 2012).

But his exposed hand has a banana to slip flash or bats, and that's more important!!

For humor sure, to sell a set i don't think so.

(im not sure if you're being sarcastic or not casue this is the internet. and it could be both ways.)

Invisible Creature did the packaging & its a pretty sweet job:

That's... beautiful. The DC one looks like the night, while the other one looks apocalyptic.

I asked someone at the lego booth and he said the flash set is the ONLY superhero reveal.

Awww, I knew it would go that way. Drat, that stinks. Oh well. :sadnew:

OooOo, a $40 Flash figure!! Lol, kidding...sort of.

I am very interested in the head under Flash's mask. It looks to have a red neck (ha ha) and depending on the rest of it, could be a good piece for customs.

Are they at least going to show us all the other new super hero minifigs from the upcoming sets??(like they did last year) Edited by LOTR343

He supposedly said only reveal, so based on that guy, no. :cry_sad:

He does. He has a red head piece with the face printed on it, hopefully with minimal discoloration.

Even if it isn't very visible on the set picture, it might still be on the box in the minifigure callouts. :sceptic:

I'm really not sure if it is his cane though. It sort of does look like another crowbar from what I can see. :hmpf_bad:

Pobably, he either lied to your face or misunderstood your question.

Plus didn't that some article say other super heroes will be shown? But then the USA one only mention the set and the giveaway figs

Based on the pics of Spidey's back of torso there is no denying that figure is an amazing Spiderman 2 variant, the back of the torso is identical to the back of the suit in every way possible in lego.

No it curves downwards I'm sure of it! The crow bar is straight at the top. This curves downward like a question mark. Wait a sec if it is the question mark he may be holding it so the mark is facing toward the side of the image that riddler is on. Meaning the bit we can see is where the symbol begins to curve from the stick itself. The question mark is not entirely visible as the engine blocks it. I'm disappointed about this being the only superheroes reveal and no figures by the look of it but I look forward to seeing better pics of the figures and if riddler has his cane tomorrow.

Looks like marvel got the short end of the stick again :/ I really hope there is an awesome marvel exclusive this year though.

I'm probably being too pessimistic, but the way it almost looks flat at the top just looks like the crowbar to me. Riddler's jacket is just such a disappointment that I don't want to set myself up again.

It would be nice to think that the gold object is riddlers cane, but if it isn't I reckon it could be a gold bar/piece to show the use of it as a gold bar because the money in the back of riddlers car suggests that perhaps he has gone on a robbery/heist (just guessing), I guess we will find out soon anyway :classic:

Thanks too halo master, I certainly look forward to the hobbit set, correct me if Im wrong but this is one of the lego movie sets http://www.flickr.co...N04/9302175904/ (unless off course you meant the hobbit set, which I certainly can't wait to hear more on  ) :classic:

I specifically asked about if they were going to show the figures like they did in past years and he said that set is the only superhero related thing they're showing besides the new marvel game which they had a playable demo of. Sorry I'm pretty dissapointed, but I did get the bttf set!

If nothing else at least it'll be gold by the look of it. Even if it is a crowbar. Hope its a cane though. I am looking forward to seeing the batman variant up close to see how it matches up with the one from the show its based on. I also hope he has a new backside of face hopefully a teeth showing grimace rather than a smile. As it is a beware the batman variant then that could mean they have changed the mouth but clearly judging by the other figures not having cw eyes I think Lego steered clear of those. The Flash looks very cool I especially love the circular mold of the helmet as it is far more accurate than the bucket from the movie and videogame of Lego batman.

Not so fast! I read in an article last year before CC that Lego confirmed that they weren't going to do a TDKR set. but what did we see at Comic-Con? the two figures. I think they're just bluffing and trying to hide the real truth. here's hoping

Yea,I'll even say the Blue Lantern oath just to give us some hope
