It's an "activity book" for little kids. I doubt any adult will buy it for anything but the figure if they don't have kids. A reference book like the Character and theme Encylopedias would be better. Maybe there will be one.

This is the new trend in cartoons right now, like in the new and successful Pac-Man show airing on Disney XD right now. Don´t have a problem with her, normally main characters only consist of useless pieces (like Emmet) and she at least gets a hoodie, some new neck part and the hair could maybe work with some customization.

I mean, what exclusive figure could they have? They're going to have 16 (most likely) exclusive CMFs on the movie + 17 sets filled with many figures (most of which exclusives). And, this is coming in July of next year, so I guess LEGO does have faith for releases on the movie after the movie, so there might be another wave indeed.

This first set looks great though and I can't wait to see the others. The set looks like it should be $29.99, but you never know.

Lord of the Bricks has a decent look of the LEGO Movie set's box. It looks complete- with 514 pieces listed and set 70808. Anywho, I do not like the box design. They made it intentionally to look like it's from a movie (with movie reels and everything). In the end, it makes it look really clustered and out of place.

Agreed, maybe he may include in the CMF Series of this theme along with Abraham Lincoln, Panda Suit Person, the Mermaid from the trailer and more. Any sets in this theme will not include any licensed minifigures.

Hmmm, that's an interesting observation. I wonder if perhaps there aren't any LEGO Lord of the Rings books because the book rights for the Lord of the Rings belong to a publisher the LEGO Group doesn't have ties with (most LEGO books to my knowledge are published by Scholastic, Dorling Kindersley, AMEET, Ladybird, or Nelson).

Anyway, since that's just an activity book it probably won't be an exclusive minifigure or anything. Just one of the figs appearing in the LEGO Movie sets.

I've just been pondering the characters in this Lego movie and noticed something. The main Villain - Metalbeard - Doesn't actually have a beard. He has a droopy moustache. So either one of the jokes of the movie is that he doesn't have a beard, or it's a really stupid name.

Yeah that's her, but... If that's "Lucy"... How come she's not mentioned in the cast on IMDb. The list has Elizabeth Banks with just "(voice)" listed so maybe that could be Lucy, and Alison Brie is listed as Uni-Kitty. Either way, where did you hear that her name's Lucy? This is a weird topic.

@Jargo I was thinking the same thing, but that is one damn sweet stache. I wonder how they'll translate it in minifig form, hopefully it isn't just printed on.

But I really dig the first set reveal so far, it's got a nice Space Police 3 vibe going on in my opinion. Both vehicles look great and I love all the minifigs, so I'll definitely be buying.

Wyldstyle could easily be a codename or surname for "Lucy".

Her name is likely Lucy Wyldstyle. People have last names, so that may be hers. Don't know where Uni-Kitty came from, though. And why would they refer to a main character by their last name if that's hers?

From what we've seen from the trailer, it seems she appears to be an enemy before the main character gets to know her. It's possible that she only shares her first name later.

Not to mention that Wyldstyle is a far more distinctive name than Lucy. Isn't the set called Wyldstyle Chase? "Lucy Chase" would be a bizarre name by comparison.
