December 16, 201311 yr The garbage collector uniforms look vague enough to be used for lots of different MOCs. Military, almost.

December 16, 201311 yr Strangely enough, it seems like they don't have the Rescue set. Is that an exclusive for Target or Walmart?
December 16, 201311 yr Strangely enough, it seems like they don't have the Rescue set. Is that an exclusive for Target or Walmart? Well, Creative Ambush is a Target exclusive.
December 16, 201311 yr The garbage collector uniforms look vague enough to be used for lots of different MOCs. Military, almost. I cant tell what color their vests are. Orange or green?
December 16, 201311 yr I still mainly want the figures instead of the actual sets, but I am loving that Creative Ambush gentleman and lady. The bowler in brown is very welcoming and a new dress print for the female is much needed. Bob's Kabobs is a neat figure too. The sets will be a big hit with the kids I'd imagine. Some of the pieces will definitely come in handy, but sets I'm still not sure on.
December 17, 201311 yr I must say I am absolutely loving the amount of effort put into these sets by the designers! The focus on creativity is something that has been absent from most themes (excluding Creator) for a long time, and the ideas running throughout this theme (a plumbers van that can be rebuilt into an plunger-shooting aircraft? Brilliant!) are great, I have no doubts it will be a smash hit with all audiences. In terms of pricing for these sets, I am pleasantly surprised, I never expected the Melting Room to be below £20, £13 is a great price! It's good that most of the 2-in-1 builds are at the 30$/£ pricepoint. In terms of minifigures, the Robo-SWAT figures in these sets look absolutely amazing, along with the civilian and CITY-styled minifigures. All in all, an absolutely fantastic theme. December 17, 201311 yr According to Brick Fanatics, Old Wild West Emmet is the Australian EB Games pre-order bonus with the game. Guess they really won't make more Western LEGO Movie sets.... I'm on mobile, so here's the link! http://brickfanatics.co.uk/first-lego-movie-videogame-pre-order-bonus-revealed/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed:%20brickfanatics%20(Brick%20Fanatics)
December 17, 201311 yr Nice figs from the creative ambush set. Thanks for the link just2good! I will have to hit Bricklink for the middle 2 figures I think, not fussed for the rest of the set
December 17, 201311 yr Someone from the U.A.E. is selling some new promo The LEGO Movie stuff on eBay! Additionally, this is unrelated, but someone on Brickset said that McDonald's in the UK will have The LEGO Movie Happy Meal stuff in February. Let's hope it's not like the 2008 Batman stuff.
December 17, 201311 yr I'm not into promo stuff, so that is of little interest to me. But was is to my liking, is that signs are coming up (not actual signs) that we'll be seeing the Lego Movie sets in stores sooner than expected. Well that's my take on it, at least.
December 17, 201311 yr Wow, everything is awesome! Additionally, this is unrelated, but someone on Brickset said that McDonald's in the UK will have The LEGO Movie Happy Meal stuff in February. Let's hope it's not like the 2008 Batman stuff. YES! Happy Meals for me! -Sci

Let's hope it's not like the 2008 Batman stuff. MCDONALDS! First Despicable Me 2, then TMNT, now this! You're making my local McD a regular stop! Edited December 17, 201311 yr by Tolkien
December 17, 201311 yr The first picture might be the accessory set you get when you build a creation at the lego store in january.
December 18, 201311 yr Come on, where the eff is my Benny fig? IF IT'S NOT CLASSIC SPACE...IT'S CRAP!
December 18, 201311 yr Stopped by Target today and noticed this: http://www.brickshel...orage_brick.jpg As far as I could tell it was a completely standard black LEGO storage brick, with The LEGO Movie logo slapped on to the packaging because marketing.
December 20, 201311 yr I am looking forward to learning about about McDonald's tie in. If they are system compatible bricks or minifigures, count me in.
December 20, 201311 yr Ok guys. My fellow shop clerk said somethig very important. (At least in Poland) the shops can buy the Movie sets and minifgs ONLY once. That's quite special. Lego wants to make it a limited edition sets?
December 20, 201311 yr The first picture might be the accessory set you get when you build a creation at the lego store in january. Yes, that is what I think too.
December 20, 201311 yr I found one minifigure pack mixed in the series 11 figures at my local Toys R us today. It was the Shakespeare figure. No sign of any more packs.
