I'm in love...I'm in love and I don't care who knows it! I'm sooooooo getting this set! Which, because it has metalbeard and benny and virvituis (three of my favorites) I won't get Lord Buisness' lair, benny's ship, or Metalbeard's duel. Which will probably save me some money!

Not to keen on the smaller Metal beard...and other than Uni Kitty vrient the figures are available everywhere else....nice ship but a little out of my price range (and space) to get...but there will be building instructions for the Double Decker Couch :D

I was stoopid excited when I first saw the pics of Benny's ship in the book, but the Sea Cow has me more excited. So gloriously insane.

The ship is everything I hoped it is, which awesome except the price tag (which I expect will be out of my range). Still, I love it, TLG is really going all out for this movie line!

I went to Target here in Washington State and looked on the shelves nothing but NinjaGo,so I look on their computer at the front of the store checked if they had them and they did, in their Back stock ,so I got a print out and I showed an Employee and she got me some from the back, I got Cloud Cuckoo Palace and Getaway Glider.

I wonder who is the audience for this new ship. It seems to be too *messy* for adults but will be too expensive for kids. It also looks like none of the minifigs are exclusive in this set. I am however quite curious to see more pictures.

Queasy-Kitty is the only one that has exclusive printing for the set. The audience is definitely adults. It's a D2C set, and D2Cs are primarily aimed at AFOLs. From what I've seen, many AFOLs are in love with this set already!

Thats a good point and although I like the set I wont get it as I cant buy one of these crazy big sets every year and I am sure there will be something I want more. I want the space set more anyway and it will cost less and be much easier to get on sale if it is sold every where so that is the one I will get.

It's 2700+ pieces. I'm thinking $180 at a minimum, and maybe closer to $250.

Am I alone in thinking the ship probably replaces the Haunted House in Lego's rotation?

I'm so getting this ship. One of the few sets from this theme I'll be getting. I can see it being expensive because of the piece count. But these sets have been dirt cheap. I got to tell you, its a crap shoot.

Let's see, the crew is a hippie, a goth chick, a space case, a clueless idiot who seems strangely concussed and whatever the heck metal beard is. The set features a green barfing unicorn cat, a flying cow, lots of whirly spinners and a double decker couch.

Somehow I can't escape the sneaking suspicion that the target market is essentially Colorado, starting at midnight tonight. I'm thinking that smoke is not from the ships engines.

I hope the spaceship doesn't cost too much, its the one set from this line I want the most :)

Although buying set means I can get Benny and Metalbeard without getting the Duell and spaceship set. I'm just going to wait to check if the sea cow has a big part in the movie.

It just occurred to me that an excellent competition for the forum to have to go along with the movie would be for people to convert other 'normal' sets into battle sets, the way this theme does with the ice cream truck and the plumber's truck and the castle gate and so on...

But we will get the instructions online for the Double Decker Couch too with this :) and I still think the Metabeard from Metalbeards duel looks a lot cooler than this one.....not saying this set isn't nice though.
