March 1, 201410 yr Got Glider and Cycle a couple of nights ago and whilst I still have the SSP car to go they're great! Hoping to get Evil lair and Cloud Cuckoo next :)
March 1, 201410 yr Wow, see I can't find the set anywhere! I bought mine and my little sisters in December and haven't seen one since... Where in NE are you? I picked up a couple in Lincoln about a month ago and I think they may have been the last 2 in town, can't find them anywhere.
March 1, 201410 yr Working on the computer today and I'm watching some gameplay of the video game. I was at the Western town part and I looked to my right and saw that my Escape Glider, on the edge of the desk, was missing. I looked down and saw my garbage can. I think it fell off into the garbage can and I threw it away last week. Whoops. -Sci

Wow, I think I seriously "felt that". Hope it turns up somewhere, I've been eyeing the Escape Glider for a while now, and this purchase is gonna hurt.

I'm not saying it's impossible--I had an action figure disappear a few years ago when my daughter became interested in him AND the trash can around the same time. He never turned up in a sweep of the house, and we can only conclude that she put him in there. How I didn't see it, I'll never know...

I bought the Ninjago book that contained the Green Ninja in a kimono and accidently knocked it onto the floor. Without knowing, my mom hoovered up the floor while I was at college and sucked the figure up (without realising) and emptied the contents of the hoover in the bin. ;o;

March 2, 201410 yr I think you just came up with the plot for the next film! Hahah! That's great. I could actually see that working.
March 2, 201410 yr You can roll the dice with Target and see what goes on clearance in a few months. If they have any left, it'll presumably get hit by their slow markdowns. They tend to mark down 3 times--a little bit at first, then maybe to 30%, and eventually to 50%. Waiting it out only tends to work with pegwarmers and massive sets, though. I was just in Target tonight. in the entire store, I could find ONE Lego Movie set -- the tiny saloon plane

March 2, 201410 yr How are LBLair selling after the movie release? I'm thinking of holding back but want to ask, in general what TLM are most popular/dissapering quickly?? Thanks
March 2, 201410 yr How are LBLair selling after the movie release? I'm thinking of holding back but want to ask, in general what TLM are most popular/dissapering quickly?? Thanks The two small sets, Cloud Cuckoo Palace, Super Cycle Chase and LB Lair seem to be the most popular to me, judging by my trips to various stores.

March 2, 201410 yr The stuff that I'm still most commonly on the shelves are the 2-in-1 vehicles. My guess is it's because they don't have any main characters in them.
March 2, 201410 yr Has anyone bothered to collect The LEGO Movie McDonald's plastic cups? Contrary to popular belief, they are actually pretty cool things to have. The holographic/3D features work well, and they are great on display near your sets. You could also just use them the old-fashioned way as drinking cups. Not to mention, they come with free child tickets to LEGOLAND. Unfortunately, the app the cups are compatible with is trash and won't scan them at all. The only ones I am missing are Vitruvius and Lord Business.
March 3, 201410 yr My McDonald's near me ran out quick. All they have is Lord Business left. I missed out on about half of them.
March 3, 201410 yr I got four cups; two Emmets, one Bad/Good Cop, and one President Buisness. I opened one of the Emmet cups, but I'm leaving the rest in the packaging. It sounds like I had the same problem as just2good: I asked for a specific one, but they only had President Buisness left.
March 3, 201410 yr Uhmm..... in the whole February my local McDonalds only provide Super Mario action figures in their Happy Meals. The only remedy I can get are the free folders this week. Edited March 3, 201410 yr by Dorayaki

Every time he collects my garbage off of my can, he sorts it all, so if something like this happened, he would find out and tell me. And when the dust bag in the hoover gets full, he opens it and goes patiently through all the dust and rubbish to see is there's something that's not supposed to be there. He's been doing this since my childhood only because of my Lego hobby and didn't even stop while I was in my dark ages. He has saved a lot of parts I would otherwise lose. By the way. I have finally seen the film today and loved it. What sets did you get yourself? I was keeping my judgment after I see it and I don't know now. All the scenes were great, but I can't say the same about the sets. If I liked them that much, I would buy them without waiting to see the film. I have always wanted Cloud Cuckoo Land for Unikitty, but I can't decide about any more sets.

March 4, 201410 yr Well, I just found a link to Lego's Press Guide from Toy Fair. Not a lot new to be gleaned from it, but I was surprised to see that the second Lego Movie wave isn't due out in August, but rather, two months earlier in June. I imagine this may be to tie in with the DVD release. And that's only three months away!
