parksroad Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 There's a behind the scenes video of how the movie was created as well as some glimpses of MetalBeard's Sea Cow. http://www.thebrickf...e-scenes-video/ Whoa! Great find on the Sea Cow! Quote

Starrocks923 Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 By the way, they made Wyldstyle too sexy. I am not a pervert, but Lego.....( I cleaned up the post a little to make it easier to read.-Star) No worries. Just ask Freddy Bricker about his beautiful Nya... Did anyone notice the graffiti on Wyldstyle's outfit makes it look like her right breast is missing? I prefer not to think of it (Or female breasts at all!), but it strikes me as very wierd looking... Quote

I'm not falling for it. *glances at Wyldstyle minifigure from afar* EDIT: Actually she has a crease spot right underneath her-why am I even talking about this! Captain Nemo Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Since I don't think anyone has posted this yet, I'll tell you all about it. Granted it's not really a set, but it's interesting. I was at Target yesterday hunting down some movie CMs (Just my luck two Scratchen-Post & Bad cops--now have 4 of those!), and I was looking at a small section at the end of the isle with Lego Movie related merchandise. There were shirts (Though no Benny find yet!), pencil sharpeners, even some kind of Fandango movie ticket cards, but then I saw this cute little notebook for only $2. It caught my attention since it was the exact same design as the printed tile that comes with the new CM Emmet! It's a blown up version of the print, and includes visable words so we can actually understand what it's saying! The printed tile seems very nefarious because of the shark, and frankly it still does. But now we have context! It has a warning that says you'll be sad if you don't follow instructions (Though I wish it said silenced rather then sad!). It also has an age limit of 0-99, and is produced by none other than Octan. I also looked up the set number included (6891), which turns out to be the same set number as the 1991 set Blacktron ship Aerial Intruder. I don't know if this is a conicidence or inentional--but I feel the latter since everything else is so cleverly planned out. Speaking of new movie tile parts, I wonder if we will see more ones. I also picked up the Lego Movie Sticker book at a discount from Walmart, and noticed a sticker of the same tile print, but with three other new ones. They're named instructions, which are handed out by Octan; but these new ones show some sets like the Taj Mahal and the creator house. I hope we get these as printed tiles too. In the sticker book, the description for these is: "Lord Business's Octan Corporation makes instructions for everything. They display the warning: "Failure to follow instructions may result in a sad and unfulfilling life." Just some interesting Lego products I'd thought I'd show. Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Ooooh! Do you know whats inside of the notebook? Quote
Captain Nemo Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 The inside is plan lined paper. Nothing special. The back cover is an ad for the film, which looks very similar to the ad they have that comes with the CM fig checklist. Quote

PenPlays Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 (edited) According to this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6N9jr0FqYMk at 1:26 they designed a wheeled form for Bad Cop's Hovercar. Turns out that (minus a few parts) the Bad Cop Pursuit set can actually be rebuilt into this car. As shown in this FIRST LOOK video (minor spoilers if they could be considered spoilers at all) Edited January 26, 2014 by Penkid11 Quote
Ardelon Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 That behind the scenes clip was awesome hilarious! But something seemed a bit off in the actual movie clip with the train and Batman, not sure what. Is the movie going to be in 3D? As for the sets, I hope there will be some smaller ones to go along with the four big ones. Quote

just2good Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 As for the sets, I hope there will be some smaller ones to go along with the four big ones. I've seen the retail catalog, and only the three Summer 2014 sets we know about are listed. But, I have some more info! There were no pictures, but there were descriptions. 70814: Unfortunately, the Constructo-Mech set only has Angry Kitty, Emmet, and two Skeletrons for the minifigures. 70815: The dropship includes a zipline. The minifigures are all the ones we saw in the preliminary picture! 70816: This set includes Robot Emmet! It also includes the three other figures we knew of- Spacesuit Wyldstyle, Astro-Kitty, and Benny. But, they also list "Robo Pilot" as a minifigure, which makes me think it's not a brickbuilt figure (they list Astro-Kitty as just a figure and not a minifigure). Huh. Quote
bekindsorewind Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Robot Emmet might already use HHE's exclusive headpiece outside of the CMF series. Would make sense since the series itself would be off the market by then. Quote

Thelegomaster Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Anyone see the behind the bricks trailer? It shows off more characters Quote
ResIpsaLoquitur Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 WHAT is with these preorder bonuses being available for everything except the PC edition? I don't own a gaming system and I don't plan to get one. I'd get the PC edition *if* it had a decent preorder bonus.... Quote
Dorayaki Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) Nice find, it seems that the figs are promoted differently in other countries. Maybe you just have to wait for other promotions if s*cking at being forced to order PS3 discs. Edited January 27, 2014 by Dorayaki Quote

CM4Sci Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Hard Hat Emmet. Took me a few minutes to figure it out. -Sci Quote
